Well, she kinda reminded me of the female version of Captain Jack Sparrow. Although, less drunkard and a little more badass.

I did like Krunch tweeking out a little after that one guy made the grass comment. T'was cool.

I also love Krunch's line, "We've brought along insurance to make sure [we don't get our throats cut]." Richard fwooshes and Sooba growls. So cool.

So what kind of elf is she (besides the sea-ferring kind -.-)? For now i'm just gonna say an Azure Elf, cause of the blue hue of her skin. Still, go Krunch with the fine line between good and evil ;p

Yeah, I was convinced of that after the whole "This is SOOBA!" line... poor Cale. Maybe he'd get along with Elttil Hctib better.

Well, it was clear that a feline would go for Richard sooner or later and forget the pointy eared... thing. A dog or a bear would have stayed with Cale, but a cat? No way.

I'm shocked though. That captain. If she's a Drow (or dark elf or whatever else, though I'd say Drow, she reminds me a bit of the Drow chick in Baldur's Gate)... then... SHE'S CLOTHED! FULLY CLOTHED! OH MY GOD! I nearly fell off my chair! Do you know what female Drow usually wear? I'd say in 99.9999999% of all cases they run around with something like a metal string tanga as armor. A fully dressed female Drow, that something you don't see every day!

And I have the strange feeling that Cale might get the hots for her, but won't really be very lucky with it. Who knows, she might "liberate" something from him.

Yeah, I was a little curious as to why Krunch's "insurance" only seemed to consist of Richard and Sooba. Maybe they were just supposed to be an example? The two of them are probably the most threatening looking of the group. Sooba for the fangs and Richard for the fact that... I dunno, he can conjure fire out of thin air?

I have to say, Captain Tah'vraay is the hottest character so far.

I've had a theory about the Sooba-Cale/Richard thing, but not now.

I am looking forward to the PoC spoofs. There's so many great lines that are perfect for LFG- both obvious and stuff you wouldn't expect. And unless your a major fan, plenty that could slip by.

This is the first time I've noticed a anything like a laugh or sound (pow fwoosh etc- and don't ask me to spell the word, there's no chance) in color. If it was an experiment, for me this time, it just through me off. I spent probably a good minute trying to read it and wondering why there was message written on the pier in red before I realized it was the pirate's "Har Har Har". Might have been because of the tight space and overlapping 'har' and people, but even picturing it in open air, I don't see a purpose and it just seems off to me (as opposed to, say, a yummy gnome walking up to a troll and asking if the nice Mr. Troll will protect him from people who want to eat him, and the troll's "har"s are red with dripping blood). *shrug* may just be me.

I liked Krunch's whole announcement. The heckuva hematic heckler handling caught my interest too. I wonder if the speculation about murder with hate in the heart discussion led Sohmer to give us a definitive demonstrative that Krunch definitely belonged in the "not allowed into the creepy portal" group?

Or maybe it was just irritation. :/

Oh yeah, and don't be to quick to think the captain is a drow, or even an above the landlubber ("and under the land and over the land I have lubbered." If you don't get it, don't bother. It's not that late, yet still I'm punchy.). The ship she captains is the FATHER'S BONES, and those bones with the natural looking horn look very aquatic. All speculation now, but she could be an aquatic being that can shape shift to more humanoid form.

Duh, it's the rule of fantasy- the less clothes a female wears, the better protected she is. A chainmail thong on a supermodel female offers better protection than full plate on a guy.

I was thinking that, but Drow's are ebon with red eyes and white hair. www.drowtales.com is an example, they also have sub-races for drows, so I guess she could be drow, but a lesser drow :/

In reply to the above post, each fantasy story has it's own set of rules, LFG can say whatever they want about Drows (however, they better not start using the term "Dark Elf". That's just too childish). Anyway, we have absolutely no idea what kind of creature she is (although pointy ears suggest elf). Personally, I'd be more interested in the actual character than her species. And yes, she is hot.

Hmmmm, i don't think she'll like Cale. Elves in any fantasy novel seem to hold hate to each other if they are different skin colours. (night elves & blood elves, drow & sun/moon/whatever elves) could prove interesting if true

quick response to something about drow. They are not solely based on red eyes and silver-white hair, drow can have blonde, red, or black hair. Their eyes can be blue, green, yellow, pink, red or even lavendar(you should know who has lavendar eyes if you read Forgotten Realms).

anyways, the captain could be a half-breed of some sort, maybe a dark elf (not like a drow dark elf, but the dark elves that were the ancestors of drow) and a human or something along those lines, and i wouldn't be surprised if she and Cale hooked up, and judging by the fact she is a pirate she could make Cale like her by just pretending to be sweet and innocent and all the things Cale probably looks for in a wife.

Have you ever been on the high seas? It's freaking COLD AS ALL HELL! I'm surprised the people in PotC wear as little as they do, they have got to be freezing their balls off.
I know its generally a rule for female characters to be stark naked, but you have to make a few exceptions.
Also give Lar and Sohmer some credit, they save that kind of stuff for LICD.

Ah c'mon, it was great for the joke, especially the treasuring the look on his face, and he DID kill the farmer, but no where near in cold blood. Heck, even if he'd got Richard, it was far from in cold blood, and definitely not a surprise attack. He told Richard to defend himself. And Richard did, in a completely unexpected manner.

Layered body paint? it still might get washed off during a morning mist at sea.

Thats why she wears many layers of clothing as well to keep it dry, I know my crazy ideas are far from plausable, its so slow at work right now.
