I'm certain it was supposed to look like Obi-Wan, he even came back as the ghost, and was dressed as a jedi.

No it is Old Ben, I can only hope it was inspired by our thread on the force and starwars on the gen board.

I thought it was quite amusing to see such an obvious Science Fiction allusion is what is a solid fantasy comic.

I would have loved to see Richard tell "Luke" that he was his father.

At least Luke can be grateful not to be dead knowing Richard

Misunderstanding. Both Brom and Obi-wan fall under the "Wise Man" Archatype, which is why they are similar. Both are wise old men teaching a younger student.
One Could class krunch as the wise man and father archatypes, while benny falls under the Amazon (independent, self-empowered) Archatype, Cale is definetly the son archatype in terms of rebelling against his race, and Richard is the shadow archatype of the others.

Not that any overly fall into archtypes to me, except Richard, but if he did Krunch doesn't really match the father oen to me. Raising Gid aside, he seems more the practical intellectual. "It's be great to be able to study amidst peace, but the world just doesn't work that way Pinky." Kinda the vet who during, the pause between battles, will make some effort to save what looks like a knick knack because HE recognizes it as some masterpiece cultural work or something.
And I'm going to remember that Da Hunter. PWB. Very good.

Eragon and star wars got to manny thing in common. Morzan: Eragon i am your father.

I wouldn't say Richard is ON the dark side. It's more... he IS the dark side. He made Anakin Skywalker (if that's not evil, I don't know what is).

Anakin isn't evil he's emo, and he deserves to be slapped around until his face resembles raw hamburger for it.
