The panel where she says the "Sword of Truths" is amazing good job Lars.
I'm just acting out because i haven't gotten to kill anyone. Favorite line.

I was a little disappointed that this entire subplot is about something that just makes you angry.
Although, it wouldn't surprise me because the "good" guys are after it...

sex, violence, extreme cowardice, they do it all

Yeah, I just hope they dont go on this quest for as long as those books are going >.> It was a classic though. Especially with the conscience thing.
Methinks Cale shouldn't have so quickly sworn an oath.

Feb 5 2007, 05:18 PM
Richard+Shame... NO WAY...
shame on you.
I think he would still give the sword to Aelloon... through his chest... then the anger flows away and he becomes all hysterical.

RyLar, this is fantastic.
I'm really glad I've gotten to read this from the beginning... but I think you aren't posting enough of these.
That's right. I'm voting that we up it from 2x weekly... to six, like LICD.
What can I say? I can't get enough of Richard.

"The Sword of 1000 Truths" was also probably cheaply punned off the books..series..thingy..(i never read them, nor have i heard of them until here on the forums)

I'll help'ya out Ythara,
The sword of 1000 Truths, while funny as hell is not related. The sword of 1000 Truths drained a players mana to nothing and caused alot of damage. Or at least that's what the episode said.
The Goodkind books are about a guy named Richard (hell yeah) who turns out to be a Mage/Warlock. In the beginning he acquires the "Sword of Truth" and becomes the Seeker of Truth. Basically the sword intensifies a persons anger to the point that they can kill someone....
There's more to it but to continue I might give away something in the comic, and I dare not do that.

Although, back on page 14, Richard does mention was trying to lose some baby weight, caused by a baby he ate. So I guess he eats infants.

You know, maybe thats why he's always so violent: he's really a nice-guy deep down, but his parents ignored him, and so now he incinerates things... for the attention. Poor poor dysfunctionally raised necromancer...
