ok so i just finished building my own computer and i got to installing wow and it wont work. i got to the end of the 5th disk and an error message comes up (error message 38 to be exact) and i called tech support and the guy walked me through the process of making a folder on my desktop and copying and pasting the tomes from the cd's to the folder, that didnt work either. a friend suggested re-formating my hard drive but i dont want to do that unless its neccesary so im hoping someone here can figure it out so I dont have to do that.

Check if the disk is scrached thats always a good idea.....

no that wasnt it, seeing as i have two sets of disks one is mine and the other is my brothers and we take good care of our disks. but the problem has been solved, i had someone take a look at it and they just re-installed the software for my video card.
