I decided to brag. I saw it awhile ago on the logitech website, and have been craving it since. Well, the cravings and yearnings finally got to the better of me and I made the purchase. It arrived in the mail a couple days ago, and I have been 100% satisfied with my purchase since.

I'm happy with my G15 for now, but that is a pretty sweet looking keyboard. And I really, REALLY want that Revolution mouse, but I don't know if I can quite justify blowing $100 on a mouse. Yet, anyway. wink.gif
Jaezelle
I considered the g15, I really did. I just decided that I liked the sleek appearance of this one better than the g15. This one is sleek, whereas the g15 just has an abnormal keysetup. I did the abnormal keysetup before when I purchased the wolfking. That is an awesome keyboard for FPS, but it doesn't really measure up for wow- I wasn't using the abnormal setup available. Also, I purchased the fang recently. So, I've been using mouse and the fang. Since the fang took over everything for my fps and wow, I opted to get a keyboard based on sexy looks rather than gaming functionality.
I've also got my eye on their surround sound systems, but I'm not so sure about that yet *shrugs* time will tell smile.gif
Hunter
Very cool, my folks just bought me the MX 5000 and it is very nice.
HavokBlue
I love my crappy factory keyboard. Nothing can change that. happy.gif
spyderjaxon
Spyder- True enough. I prefer function over form. I shelled out a little extra to go wireless(keyboard and mouse), but that's was it. I do LOVE my wirless keyboard and mouse though.

mmm- I read about that keyboard concept a *long* time ago.... didn't know it had actually come out and was available to the public. How well does it work?

Meh. I prefer my keyboards not to be Cylons, thanks all the same. tongue.gif Besides, from the action shots, it looks kinda tiny displayed on the table.
Rae-Rae =^.^=
I saw that keyboard on CSI... I might just have to steal it...
I3lind
Jaz, not the biggest fan of your keyboard choice as it lacks num pad but i did cream a little for the mouse there. Its so pretty. Sure beats my piece of shit

They want $50 for that? Damn, I could get way better than that for the kind of money they're looking for.
spyderjaxon
Spyder- $50 for a mouse? I didn't even pay fifty for my keyboard and mouse.
I3lind
I didnt either, my parents did way back when as a gift.
Triforceelf
I have a nice optic mouse and a regular keyboard. I really am not a hardcore gamer so spending bigillions of dollars on stuff makes no sense for me. But hey if you have to get that frag...
spyderjaxon
Spyder- I actually bought mine, but as I said, no frills. My wireless keyboard and mouse are by Mirco Innovations bought at Wal-mart. tongue.gif They work well enough for my husband and I.
TheGrubz
I got the same damn keyboard and mouse my computer came with a hell will freeze over before I spend 300 USD on them dagnamit!
Shadowflit
MX Revolution is wonderful. Setpoint software, like always, leaves a bit to be desired, but the mouse is wonderful.
Oh, and as a laptop user the small usb receiver (as opposed to the 1000's charger/receiver combo) makes a big difference.
Enjoy your keyboard!

And to all you vanilla keyboard and mouse users - treating yourself to some nice accessories is well worth it.
spyderjaxon
Spyder- I suppose it is according to your passion, Shadow. For some it's computer gear, others jewelry or fashion, for my husband it is collecting weapons(which I like too!), but for me it is spoiling my daughter, home improvement, and nice outdoors gear. Now that I am so much closer to the Gulf, I intend to enjoy time on the beach again.

Cool, what type of weapons does he collect, Firearms or swords and whatnot?
spyderjaxon
Jaxon- ...All, mostly archaic melee. Currently in the market for a good Battle Axe. All ranged and melee weapons are good with me. Also trying to build up an armor collection.

Spyder- I prefer a combo of two smaller weapons, like say two fighting Bo. I particularly favor even smaller weapons that can be hidden, such as my stiletto. And of course, light ranged weapons. Not so much guns though. It is a quirk, I guess. I can use guns, but I don't particularly like them.
Hunter
Very cool, I have a small collection of hunting, skinning, and camping knifes. My Deer rifle is classified as a collectors item making ammunition for it fucking expensive.
spyderjaxon
Jaxon- What rifle and caliber?
Hunter
.30 Remington, look for it under Model 14. Its a pump action and before I had it restored a guy offered me $3000 US for it.
spyderjaxon
Spyder- I think he's impressed, but he keeps talking about selling and getting two 30-06's and all the trappings. I don't know what's going on either.

EDIT: Now he's going on about a Garand? Do you know?
Hunter
My dad has a nice 30-06, they are nice guns for deer and moose. Though I don't know what there is for hunting in Florida. Garand as in an M1 what the US Army used in WWII? I don't know a think about them besides they were used in WWII, Korea, and I think Vietnam. I'm going to end up with two 303 British rifles if I get all my papers done up really soon.
spyderjaxon
Spyder- Hunting in Florida? Oh, let's see. Deer and Hog mostly. I guess fowl, too. I know of ducks and pheasants, and hubby just reminded me, some quail. Gotta be careful with the Hog though, they'll kill you quite happily. What does moose taste like?
Hunter
Moose is really good, less gamie than deer is.
spyderjaxon
Jaxon- Not better than hog.

Spyder- I love the piggy! I love it so much! laugh.gif
Hunter
I like wild pig too, much better than pork from a farm. But trust me when it comes to wild game Elk is the king.
I3lind
So spyder likes the hog, intresting. Funny how all the threads she is in seem to gravitaite towards sex biggrin.gif
Hunter
Not all, the jibber jabber one is about bannock, unless her and Jaxon are going to play Pocahontas and John Smith later on.
I3lind
Why else would one make bannock?
spyderjaxon
Spyder- My you guys have a lot of names for that. huh.gif Hubby had to explain to me.

Jaxon- I am new to this land, gentle native. Could you show me your "bannock"?

Spyder- For the record, eww guys, just eww....
Hunter
Can't beat codes for sex.
I3lind
Spyder, boys will be boys. And Jaxon, here you go

Killing wild pigs has been a family tradition of mine for over 20 years, no joke.

So? Or maybe its just me thinking that not having a history of hunting in your family is crazy...

Spyder- Where do you hunt? We have a bit of a cheat in that when I was growing up my grandfather owned a large stretch of land bordering on the Peace River. We hunted there. Now, my huband's sis married a cattle rancher, so we can hunt there in the back woods acreage. Hunting has taken a back seat for the past few years though.

Get a Moisin-Nagant. Great deer rifle, and you can get 'em for dirt cheap.
HavokBlue
Cuz' it's russian. Anything russian is cheap. That's how the rest of europe got paper. And gunpowder. And sex.

They bought it from the russians.
Jimmy
Well, you're half right. It was used by Russia, but half the design was done by a Dutchman, and the largest numbers of them were produced in the U.S. because Russia's manufacturing at the time was crap.
HavokBlue
And then they were smuggled to russia where they were sold back to american hunters?
the last templar
due to limited space on a ship, kinda stuck with a laptop but i've got a semi-decent multimedia one. went with a razer mouse, love the 2000 dpi and it fits my hand well. on an unrelated subject (sorry), the navy is really just one huge p2p network.
Hunter
Holy Necroposting Batman, but it is nice to know that the armed services know how to share.
