Hi everyone,

I discovered this fantastic comic via judgehype.com (which is a small french website talking of Blizzard's games), and I've got some questions...

Can I translate the comic in French and published it on the net ? I've done the 2 first pages, and I've got good criticism (ok, I should have ask before, but I wanted to see if there were enough french talking people interreseted).

And if I develop a website (in fact, I've almost done the development, but it is not yet hosted) to host my translations, can I have the same design as the original website ? I think it would be better if both website have the same look and feel. But of course, I can make my own design, there's no problems.

This is something you'd be better off contacting the comic's creators directly. I believe they have their emails up on the home page somwhere.

Yeah, I'd say email Randy or Sohmer and ask about this. If you contact Sohmer, butter him up by mailing a bag of Cadbury's Creme Eggs first.

Hum, in french, it would mean (with a litteraly translation):

Cet orphelinat m'a attaqué.

I know, for this line, it's not as good as in english...

This comic might not translate very well, it has quite a bit of slang and undertones that will most likely only work in english.

Most of Richard's one liners and all the puns won't survive the translation I'm affraid. But, yeaah, seek to contact Sohmer on this.
