I'm having problems with my speakers, so I can't critique your selection yet.
But, on-topic: I like the background music in Okami.

Dude, the fact that I KNOW the band, doesn't mean I like it. Saw them live once, because my ex loved it. Besides, I'm a metalhead yes, but that doesn't mean there ain't exceptions...I love Pink Floyd, and that's not metal tongue.gif

Thought I'd continue this here in your thread atleast partically about music rather than drag the current comic thread way off topic.

First I didn't mean to upset you atleast not in any serious way, I'm kind of a light hearted asshole. I consider myself a serious metalhead myself but I understand their are exceptions, I listen to more punk and old rock than most metalheads and don't get questioned much on my liking of Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin ect. But I understand and don't mind explaining if someone finds it wierd I'm listening to Johnny Cash, Gypsie Kings or even 'Country Boy Can Survive' by Hank Williams Junior. So anyways I was curious and wondering if I hastily misjudged Reel Big Fish because my friend who exposed me to them had terrible taste in music. If it's a girfiend thing probably not but take it as a compliment that I already care more about your taste in music more than someone who I've known since Grade 1. By the way I appreciate the Judas Priest avatar, British Steel is a great album. I'd be happy to talk to you about metal or non-metal groups that are worth listening to anyways.

personally I think the zelda theme done in twighlight princess was better, since it was a more advanced game.

my intrest in game music can be quirky sometimes.
The Bunny
of course nothing can touch the gta series when it comes to video game music, with all its different radio channels and songsby renowned atrists, exclusively produced for the series. Other games with great music were Fallout 3 (Crawling through a postapocaliptic desert slaying zombies to the sound of 1940's love songs has a certain feeling to it. Unfortunately there's not enough songs. I also greatly enjoyed Vampire - The Masquerade Bloodlines, partly because of the music. There are many different Clubs in the game, and each one has a specific, yet cool sound to it.

problem is, most of the gta songs are real songs....so they are not really 'game songs'. wel..fallout 3 has good music, but just can't reach my top 20 wink.gif

Oh right. It seemed like you really like Super Nintendo and I never had one. I am a fan of the Green Jelly soundtrack to Maximum Carnage. I was obssessed with that game.

I figured as much just one of the ways we differ. I've owned or lived with an original Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Gameboy SP Advance and a couple PS2's.

I had a NES too, but I was too young to remember stuff from it. After that, the SNES came. Then came our PS1, and after that the Gamecube and the XBOX360. Of course I also had the GB, GBC and the GBA.
Gathers Scrolls
I'm not sure this counts, but I always liked the background / 'radio' tunes on Crazy Taxi. smile.gif
MantaLord
I really enjoyed the music of the Ace Attorney series... Plus I think that Snake Eater is THE BEST VIDEO GAME THEME OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME.
Bloodwing

MORTAL KOMBAT! that is the one of the best games ever, great characters, great enviroments, great music, but most of all great fatalities.
Bloodwing
hmmmmmmmmmm...favorite game music eh? now that is really tricky for me since I play so many games that I like, but right now I really like the music in Mech Assault 2 Lone Wolf, especially when you get to fight the giant spider mech and the final boss. CRAP! I just remembered another favorite game music, Devil May Cry.
zdhusn
Definately Blurry from Ace Combat 5.

Edit: Red Alert: Best RTS ever!!!
Greenguy
Pretty cool List!!!
Though Legend of Zelda Theme Music will always be my favourite... partially because of how addicted to those games I am and it just totally rocks for me! Another thing is how the theme song has evolved through each game ... with each game adding in it's own unique sound

Of course the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games had abig influence on me... thats where I first heard my now favourite band AC/DC!
