Anyone up for a trivia fight?

Most of the first two pages have been moved from the JJ and the rules have been quoted above from when Sess made this thread ~GDS

That sounds familiar, but I can't quite place my finger on the name and I refuse to cheat by Googling it or something. And I somehow doubt that the answer is 'upbeat'. laugh.gif

What is the name of the ninja variant of a samurai's sword, and why is it different?

A ninto. The blade is generally made of a lighter metal, is slightly shorter, and is not curved.

No. Its 'syncopation'.

A...Katina...that's my guess, but I don't know why its different...and I'm probably wrong.

EDIT: What is the highest pitched instrument in any given orchestra?

EDIT: What is the highest pitched instrument in any given orchestra?

1) I figured it was something obvious like that. dry.gif

2) Is it a piccolo?

3) A/D and Raven are both correct. It is different from a katana because it is slightly shorter and lighter, despite having a katana's sheath. This is to allow for a much quicker draw time.

Which character was Mark Hamil most famous for before his role as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars trilogy?

The Batman series he voiced wasn't until '92. The only acting he did before Star Wars was TV acting on soap operas, the movie A/D mentioned, and a cartoon series called Jeannie.
