Full Version: Posting a page twice a week confusing?

If you disagree with me that's fine, but I'm tired of forgetting what happened on the last page. I believe it'd be easier if the entire issue was finished before releasing it, book series don't release a page of the next book twice a week and it works for them.

That's just how webcomics work, I fail to see how it could adversely effect your understanding of the comic, if you have trouble understanding what's going on try rereading the issue from the archive.

It doesn't really confuse me but there's the occasion scene change from a scene posted three weeks ago. There are some occasions when i don't feel like rereading some pages, while still wanting to read lfg for a time lasting longer than one or two pages. But stopping in the middle of a scene even if it isn't the most suspenseful part isn't something people like to do.

Eh, can't say I agree. Personally I'd like it if it updated a slightly more often, but considering they do LICD daily along with working on the LFG movie and all the merchandise ect. it doesn't seem plausable. Ya know what ya could do though. You could wait and not read the comics until the current issue is completed and then read through it. It'd essentially be the same as what you're suggesting.

If you want a webcomic that updates a chapter at a time, try Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki. Or just set a reminder to read lfg once every 3 months or so.

There are webcomics out there that update a chapter at a time, but they tend to lose readers since you have to wait a month.

In any case, you can always wait the three months it takes for an issue to finish, hit the back button or just go through the archives every so often. That tends to be what I do.

This same thought has crossed my mind before but i have to say that it does seem a bit impractical, plus releasing more regularly allows for more regular feedback to let you know what people think of certain plot devises and what not. I doubt it but if it were not for the masses of anti-romance comments on the little Cale-Benny fling a while ago then LFG could have very well ended up with a romance subplot.

I would like to stress the use of the word "Could" in that last sentence.

I feel the same way. It would have made a great addition to the story but it seems like it never even happened now which is really stupid. How do you have two characters that have seemingly hidden emotions for a hundred pages or so, suddenly they get together and have sex, then afterwards they are friends and nothing ever happened. Worst way they could have handled it imo

Aye, truth be told, I was expecting... well, more from that event when it happened, y'know?

It's not that difficult to hit the "Previous" button or view the archive to refresh yourself if you have issues remembering the previous page.

This is l ike comics you find in the newspaper or other online comics. You don't get a series of comics all at once either. You have to be patient for each one.

And everyone else, stay on topic.
