I love the expression of the bunny in panel 2 and of richard in panel 3

Its seriously about to throw down.

Does it look like Richard is squishing the AM in the last panel to anyone else..?

I like how the lady holding the book makes the wise decision to move out of the way as things start to go bad.

The Matron does not want this to "escalate" against Richard, very unwise choice there for her safety and the safety of those who follow her.

Which scenario is more likely? An intervention by Tah'Vraay, or a reveal by the Archmage?

This won't end well either way.

Yeah, I'm sure Richard has a good reason for not wanting to part with the Archmage at this time. (Kind of scares me to speculate what he has in mind.)

I see this ending with a compromise. Bunny stays with Richard, so the Matron and her clan go with Richard too, to Kethenecia.

On another note, I'm agreeing with the "Sisters will follow the bunny to Kethenacia" theory, and not just because I said it in the thread for the prior page.

I suppose that would fit the storyline, but something about it just doesnt sit right. I mean, it's not like the sisters would be afraid to fight richard for bunny, they have already banished him once.

True but they know he can escape. So they will try to make him back into his former self maybe and we might find out his back story lol

Something occured to me
That lady seems mighty suspicious ... I don't think she is getting out of the way before things go bad
1. All the sisters have transformed ... why hasn't she
2. She holds their book of religion ... maybe someone has been feeding the sisters false truths
3. It seems to me she is getting out of there incase she gets caught ... she stirred up trouble and is getting out while she can

The Sisters banished Richard to the Plane of Suck to be tried in a kangaroo court of demons and he not only came out as the last warlock standing, he escaped the Plane. The Matron should know better than to challenge him. Or didn't anyone tell her about a mountain that used to be standing in one piece...

but if there was something odd about her not transforming, don't you think the others would kind of know? Which is to say, the other blue elves would know if the fusion would affect all or just some of the sisters

I just thought of something else after reading mondays thread, where the hell is pella?

She has been missing hasn't she... Maybe after that fight with cale she got the hint and left the group without anyone noticing *shrugs*

For the life of me, I will never understand the Pella hating.

But even if SohLar did intend to have her leave the group, I'd think they'd be a little less subtle about it. It wouldn't be a disappearing act, it would be a death in battle. I'm picturing an unfortunate song choice for her final moments in that version of events.

All this may be redundant, but I'll say it anyway.

#1 - Pella is still there, if you take a look at page 296, she's right there smirking at Richard with everyone else.

#2 - Woot for 300 pages!

#3 - Isn't today the 29th?

Edit: I thank the staff for addressing the issue in #3. I thought I was going nutty for a second there.

Every page without Pella increases my suspicion. She's not the type to be plotting something on her own, so I'm willing to bet the AM has something to do with her vanishing. Maybe a precaution against this very scenario? Though I can't think of anything she could really do to stop it at the moment. As for Richard, I doubt he could take all of the sisters and the sons post fusion. If he could take out an army, they wouldn't have needed an alliance in the north, just motivation for Richard. Even if he could, I don't see the AM letting him. I don't think the sisters are going to Kethenecia. At least, not now. Cale and co still need to deal with the legion, which means they won't be going back for a while. So neither is the bunny.

funny thought just occurred to me, dunno if its already been said, but wouldn't it be funny if in actuality the bunny that Richard burned here was the sister's "blessed one"?

Long time reader, first time poster...

I look at the situation a little differently here - I read the first "I can't" from Richard as falsely flippant, and the second one said as if through clenched teeth - as if it's not that he won't give them the "bunny", but more that he really can't - and he's not too pleased with that situation either.

You'll note on page 256 (as linked above) he did say he had a promise to keep - perhaps the archmage/bunny works into that.

Just a guess!

Well, this isn't going to end well.....

I'm pretty sure the next page will be an intervention from Vraay, since she's allready approaching in that last panel. So my guess is that we will rather find out some things about her and her conflict with her mother that about the bunny...

Whether the AM or a vessel containing the AM's essence to hang with the group, it doesn't look like the bunny wants to leave Richard either: they have sort of formed an attachment.

Yeah, and after that little showdown at a little village down the coast I wonder why the AM isn't simply hopping over to the sisters for protection. Must have other plans.

Or made some sort of deal. Pretending to have formed an attachment could just be a way to avoid suspicion.
