Hi everybody,

I'm currently on the project of translating "lfg" for french friends, 'and more if you want to'.
With a friends, we're working on it, and will submit our project to Lar and Ryan when we will consider it as near of perfection as it can.

We've decided to submit our work once we'll have twenty pages in French.

But we are actually facing a problem : what is the font used ?
At this point, we have found "Sans", and some on the website "dafont.com", such as "konakri"...

We are using "the gimp" in order to modify the texts, and our brain to translate. ^^'

We know it will not be the greatest translation ever, but there is a lot of people around us interested in reading this webcomic, but not enough smart in english to understand, that's why we're acting this way.

Can anyone here help me, with this font problem ?

We, of course, do this freely.

Yes I know, but there is not so much news about it... That's also why we've decided to work on it.

Hmm it seems like we have to buy this font, does anyone know where we could find it for free ?

You are also violating copyright laws by workign on it and if you subsequently "publish" it in any form. I'd suggest being patient and wait as you were not one of the translators given permission to alter anything.


You won't find the exact font for free, you'll find a knock off that won't be perfect.

My aim is not to publish but to propose something as a humble fan, as it's almost one year ago that you were looking for translators, and we have still no news about it. if I've missed something please forgive me.

In another way it also shows foreign fans are still waiting for a translated 'lfg'

We have encountered problems with gimp, and I'm currently working on my "adobe skill".
I'll show you what I've tried to do as a "fan art", not as a "Blind Ferret Entertainment" product :-)
