I didn't see this up, so here you go.
Really NOW, ok I'm happy the blue guys are alive and well (as I predicted). Bah destroyed fortification not a clear sign.
But really! Richard is a Lord now. You don't suppose he was one of them while alive do you?

I had suspected for a while that the shovel that the jade bunny was holding might somehow be connected to Richard's pillaging shovel, but had dismissed it as too unlikely. Now it seems that maybe I wasn't that far off.

. But your right, it's the bunny. DArn, I could have guessed tooo

I'm curious about richards reaction . Will he keep the archmage still as his pet?

Not that it would be that surprising, but I doubt Tah'Vraay is going to be as reverant as the rest of them.

Also, who thinks we might be seeing an Archmage reveal in the near future? I'd say it's too soon to all the other revelations we've been getting, but it seems they might be heading in that direction.

Richard knows that the bunny is the Archmage. He acknowledged it after returning to his little village up the coast. As for who the elves are bowing to, I'd like to point out that the bunny is bowing too.

The last panel's adorable, by the way. Richard and Felbunny kickin' back.

Well, it's obvious, isn't it? They worship the Energizer Bunny. It takes a licking, and keeps on ticking.
Poor Richard. Now the bunny's getting al lthe attention, and not him. What do you think he'll do to get everyone's attention back?

I knew the blue peoples were still alive, I just knew it.
Yay, bunny worshiping. I want in on that religion.
Also, just wondering, does anybody else think that the reason that tree is shaped that way is because Richard mutilated or manipulated it some how? I mean most trees don't grow like that.

"Belchion" reminds me of a parody of the old Clapper commercial with a kid singsoning "Belch on! Belch off! Belch on..the BELCHER!" while his little brother or cousin or something belches to the tune.

They have a giant statue of a bunny that they worship. They call that bunny their lord. The bunny is, in fact, a powerful time travelling mage. They've seen Richard many times before and never made a fuss.

I, personally, see the significance in the fact that Krunch has stopped using his nickname for Cale. Might be nothing, but what comes to mind was when he was ridiculing his brother for taking orders from the Elf.

Intersting... be warned, one of my first serious analysis's ever.
It is obvious that the bunny is the object of theri worship. So, the Archamge is their lord. This poitns to a few things, mainly ideas that the AM has done more to maniplate the past and future than we originolly thought. And since we know Richard knows the bunny is the Archmage we can also make the connection that Richard has a bigger stake in this than we think.
This leads to the connection of the bunny statue holding a pillaging shovel. And does that scroll not look like the one the AM was reading through around the time he was first introduced? Hm. So Ricahrd is the metaphorical left hand and the AM is the right. Maybe the bunny is more a symbol than anythign else. The two forces of Richard and AM bringing around some greater outcome. Balancing eachother out.
It all makes sence really, Ricahrd alwasy being with the bunny, Richard maniipulating the bunny. The AM and the Richard have an infered deeper connection. Somehow their combined interactions have lead to this strange cult of bunny worshipers, the furry critter that ties them both together. VEry itneresting. I can't wait to see how this developes.
BAck to Richard. I found him very funny. I just though the line and facial expression worked perfectly XD

Oh, so the warriors actually wore chainmail under the surcoats. That wasn't apparent when they marched out of the temple, possibly due to the glowing mist/light reflections diffusing the details.
Seems the elves came out ahead in the battle, though the temple still got wrecked. I'd wager the Legara forces weren't wiped out either, so while it was an apparent victory, I don't think they can linger too long. The matron may speak of this when she meets Cale.
Heh, it's nice of Belchion to call Tah'vraay a lady. Not very accurate though.

And yes, some trees do grow like that, usually due to an external influence or disease, but it happens. Not very usual though.
While I wouldn't put it above Richard to warp a tree just so he could get a seat I don't think he had to this time. Actually, I'm not sure he can warp a tree by other than destructive means and the tree looks healthy, just oddly grown.
And yes, it seems the elves recognize their lord... I wonder if he will stay in the bunny form or assume another.
Hmm, or considering the statue... What if the bunny
is his real form, and the human archmage is his disguise?
I'm also inclined to agree with Bag o' ears that the archmage and Richard have a connection of some kind. How extensive I'm not sure, but it seems it is significant and it might explain why Richard hasn't killed any of the group yet (ignoring that early incineration of Cale).

ITS ABSOLUTELY CLEAR!
Archamage is symbolized by the schroll (mages uses schrolls you know) and maybe he also symbolize light side (althought i believe archamge is total dick).
Richard is symbolized by the shovel and its symbol of dark side.
Bunny as manifestation of elven god makes sense in one way - they wanna worship something that has ears like them!!!

I'll disregard that first incineration, because it's followed by Richard finding him a healer...aaaand a new member of his group...aaaand ultimately the one that "eases his pain, if only for a moment". C'mon, Cale would never have met Benny without Richard's help!

I have nothing more to say than I'm happy with this panel. Last one was like "Eh.." and this one is like "Yay!". I was starting to lose interest a bit, but this kinda brought me back.
I love the last frame where the blue elves are bowing to fel bunny (I assume). I didn't notice him at first and my reaction was: "Wha..? Did Richard get another title without telling us?!"
P.S. Erm, I just went back to see the bunny statue the blelves were praying to way back... And looked at the shovel everyone keeps mentioning in relation to Richard's pillaging shovel... Well, is it just me, or does that "shovel" look like it could also be a big golden arrow? And thus actually be in some kind of relation with Cale rather than Richard? What do you guys think?

Props to everyone else who predicted an illusion.
Yeah for the first time I find myself in agreement with BoLE. I think Richard and the Archmage, while not necessarily the same person are two sides of the coin with the Archmage being the idealist and Richard being the cynic. And honestly the jury's still out on which one's more evil. (I mean sure Richard kills things all the time but when has he ever manipulated so many innocent people?)
I doubt Tah'vraay will be very enthusiastic about Bunny worship. She'll probably tell the elves to get back to work or something.
