Because I'm late in my response:
Cale is now one of the few people who can use the age old pick up line:
"Baby, when we make love, giant golden eggs rise out of mountain temples."
Y'know, the one every guy tries to use.

Am I the only one who feels sorry for the Legaran soldiers? I mean they're obviously about to get wtfpwned by whatever the Sisters and Sons have planned. It seems that all they do is walk into horrible deaths (IE Richard's village) because of bad intel and their greedy commanders who only care about conquest. If I was in the Legaran Army I'd work extra hard to be assigned to a Dragon Rider Unit, at least those guys tend to have even kill-death ratios.

The following conversation took place right after the "rumbling" became evident, in the commanders tent.
"Dead Bird! My ass!"
"But, I thought..."
"I´m hereby relieving you of command!"
"What? But..."
"Shut the f*** up! You lazy ass noble!"

He's not the Commander, Cmdr Jack "Kickass" Kirby as I call him is missing, this Captain is presumably his second in command who took over after his absence.

I'm not sure who you think he looks like but it's quite possible. A specific artistic style like Lar's means that you'll see some elements recycled. Look at Betty and Veronica from Archie Comics, they're the same girl with different hair.

Firstly: Richard has everything to do with everything ever.
Secondly: I am suprised how close i am, geographically anyway.
thirdly: Who's to say it is the bunny. AS far as we know they have a massive gold statue of Richard hidden somewhere as well.

Pella never actually beat Richard in a real fight. Show me once when Ricahrd is actually fighting PElla even. Pella choping of Ricahrds hands is teh same as Richard disintegrating Cale at the beggining. IT wasn't a real serious trying to kill you scenario.
And i don't know, when i saw that page i thought it wasn't so much the commanders aptitude that let him win, but the three being too easily distracted.

Well that was an energy shield, I think the golden thing is more of a bubble of pure magical power with no real purpose, just a side effect of whatever the hell is going on inside of the temple.

Since lar's going to be late with the new page i might as well express my anticipation and premonition on what is to happen next.
Of course since the scene just switched to the temple, SomLar will continue there. From their style they do not shift scenes with plot significance so readily. Since it has been a day since the sons and the daughters started the fusion, it makes sense something is happening. As for the speculation of the golden dome being the temple itself, i believe this is correct. as well a the wearing off of the illusion theory. But the idea that it might be similar to the energy field outside Dalaran is incorrect as the blue energy field (like the one at the bloodrage) outside the temple itself was still there so making a new field seems unlikely. However, teleporting also seems out of the question because I believe with the combined efforts of the daughters and sons is enough to wipe out the legion surround it there. Then they shall make their escape.
As for Richard's interaction with Cale after the fact is very much like what Jonath wrote except i believe he left out something.
the hole richard already dug for benny.
