Bah twas a funny strip that only goes to prove that this relationship isnt going to take away from the humor only add to it
Only time will tell, right? Just enjoy it while it lasts. It's going to end one way or another, eventually, might as well just actually enjoy it before it does instead of panicking.
It's not that Richard is asexual, just that he can only imagine Benny attractive as a corpse.
XD! Win.
Cale with a severely scared expression: "Don't have lesbian sex with the gigantic cow man's daughter or he'll smear you across the landscape repeatedly."
And win#2.
and also: spill the beans doesnt sound dirty! we've got too many innuendos, euphemisms, and double entendres goin on in here. everything sounds dirty.
Even "everything sounds dirty" sounds dirty!
Well, one way they could solve that... Once Benny have Cale apologize to Pella and they're friends again, Pella gets between them with her arms around their hips and re-quoting her last line from page 209:
"I rather be liking the feel of both."
And thus a happy threesome is born. More based on friendship than sex, though the later becomes a part of it too.
With the focus is still on the adventure and getting Kethencia up and running.

*stares in awe*
... W-win #3.
Yes.
That's just basically my whole reaction after this. It's exactly how things should be.
Cale - finally getting some.
Benny - moaning with pleasure.
Richard - happy, confused and innocent all at once.
The Bloodrage giggling.
ROFL~!

Indeed!
I have to say, as it stands I'm leaning on the "this isn't so bad" side of things. Because it isn't. It still retains it's humor, it's just like every other thing they kinda branched out on (character development, remember?) that people said had "stopped being funny." And frankly, as it stands, the only reason to hate it is because of a bias against romance. I definitely have one, which is why I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but I will admit that there have been many cases where romance was done very well.
So I'm holding out on it, with cautious optimism.
P.S. Richard was adorable here, did I mention that?
