Aw, look at Richard standing there, all coy and demure...
The question remains, did Richard, Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, etc etc, at some point eat not just the soul of a monk, but also the soul of a wide-eyed, three-year-old girl?
Or rather, has he played this act (this enthusiastic, clueless naivety has to be an act,
right?) for so long that he has internalized it and is now even play-acting in front of
himself, even when no-one's there?
Just as Maikos was putting on his "I'm but a little peasant, yes my Lord Mayor, of course, my Lord Mayor" act and pretending to be mutedly horrified by the the blood and the dead bodies Richard left behind, when in reality he and everyone in their Little Village Up The Coast were undead already. But still pretending to work, cook meals etc...
I guess eternal life gets boring if you don't find a hobby, even if it's called bullshitting yourself. Sorry, performance art.
The real question is not was Richard a virgin in life, but was
Cale a virgin up to now? Sometimes he sure acted clueless around the females... We still don't know where he was or who he was before he had a near-Richard experience in the woods at the start of the comic.

what if benny gets pregnant?
She won't. She's a divine spellcaster, she can regrow arms and raise people from the dead for god's sake, I'm pretty sure she can control if and when some guy's little wriggly sperm fertilize her eggs.
Besides, maybe her species, whatever Benny is, doesn't get a fertile period every month. Among the Great Apes, we humans are the ones that breed like rabbits. Probably because of the genetic bottleneck/near extinction thing in our evolutionary past. I just wish we'd get over it, as a species, and stop breeding so much.
