I know people have been predicting this sort of thing for-freaking-EVER, but I'd tended to ignore it. I guess I just figured that for one reason or another, any chemistry or action between Cale and Benny wouldn't happen... Those of you that firmly stood by that belief... you deserve cookies.

But anywho you guys and gals bashin on this out there you dont need to be so afraid of it in my opinion it will either open for more jokes oooor it wont really effect the course at all aside from a little romance here and there. Personally I prefer more but I can understand your hesitation towards this matter fearing it will disturb the comedic flow of this comic but with geniuses like Lar and Sohmar behind this I dont think you have a thing to worry about.

Wow. Uh...wasn't expecting that >_> doesn't really feel right though. It's just... there hasn't been any indication from either party yet that there is an attraction there, so you would expect their first kiss would have come about differently and not so... casual? That is some way to ease a conscience. It seems in this case she was thinking along the lines of the popular phrase, "the quickest way to a man's heart is through his pants" (At least I think I am remembering that correctly)

The first few panels are night mate that is why it lights up in the last few in certain area's because Benny's crystal starts glowing.

Lar and Sohmer could just as easily kill this romance off in a page or two, keep it going until the end of the strip, or keep it up for a while and then drop it. Actually, they probably just love how much people are paying attention when they do stuff like this.

Whichever way it goes, I'm fine with it so long as it's done right - no 'I suddenly can't stand you anymore and my oh my doesn't Richard look hot' or 'I want to be together forever after having kissed you once' crap. This is a comic-adventure saga, not a sitcom that comes on before reruns of Friends.

Of course, this could all be pretty academic. The next comic could just be a close-up of an annoyed Benny muttering that Richard was right - Cale really doesn't have man parts.

So many topics have been brought up in regards to this possibly happening, I was actually reading through one of them last night or the night before, can't remember. Either way, I disregarded them thinking that they would focus too much on the adventure itself to really add romance, especially after the last page. So needless to say, my reaction was, did not see this coming o.0

My friend the Trekkie got upset with the latest movie because the uniforms weren't canon or something like that, among various other *slight* inconsistencies...

But it's still so freaking weird. I mean.. I guess I'm a purist. He needs an elven woman! Lol. Not that I have anything against Benny I just really don't see them together. At all. He's such a pussy.

Case in point, as I mentioned earlier, Richard is portraying Cale with the only piece of cutlery with the semblance of holes.

The uniforms were totaly canon, Just better materials (and better cameras).

Actually, funny story about that. There was a critic who had a beef about the uniforms, comenting that they looked like something out of the sixties. Unfortunately he had comments off and no e-mail was provided, so I couldn't enlighten him.

I haven't seen it yet, nor have I recently watched any of the older ones, so I can't really throw an actual opinion in >.>

Can I please just ask everyone to calm down? It happened . . . we all saw it. No need to freak or anything just accept it as part of the artists design. No matter if you find it good or bad (good in my opinion) ts not for us to decide it is completely the creators' choice.
