Well even if this dosen't make 30 pages by Mon (I think it will easy) just the fact that this has gone for 29 pages (so far) and gotten 15-20 new persons to make accounts shows that this has been the biggest plot twist so far. I think that also proves that the timing was a masterstroke. The only thing left now to see is if this sends the comic to new levels of epic or if this is the moment LFG jumps the shark. Now some of that is going to be subject to taste and I don't think the 'no kissing no romance ever' group is ever going to be happy again so sorry to you all I hope you can find happness someday. ;-) Now for the crowed I count myself among we that don't want a romance to take over the story but can live with a natral feeling romantic sub-plot I thing we shall find ourselves vary happy around here; just as we've always been ;-)
Anyway I really don't think LFG is in any way doomed as some have been preaching but I am vary interested in how this all plays out; a lot of viable thoughts have been presented in the 29+ pages of coments and I'd bet at least one or two of them are in the ballpark of what's comming for Monday. My prediction came true, 30 pages!

Oh believe me I know, I've seen good oc's heck I've even seen some well written ocs that were borderline mary sues. The ones that are completely unrealistic and don't fit what so ever in the setting, the ones who break the canon storyline so they can be special... the ones who exist in the same fic that completely destroys and bashes the canon love interest that they are replacing, THOSE are the ones that piss me off.

I've waded through the thread and have not seen anyone mention the dialogue. She quite clearly states the word, temporarily. Sorry to burst the bubble of all the shippers but there's no romance here. There is also the relatively impossible probability that coitus is involved. Cale is bound to a tree in a vertical position. Now Benny may be agile but the logistics seem "insurmmountable." Cale is, after all, caucosoid.
There is also the distinct possibility that this has nothing to do with Benny's affection towards Cale. Perhaps this is simply a need that Benny has to sate. Who else in the group is available? The choices are necrophilia, incest, homosexuality, or Cale.
I am reminded of that old Marilyn Manson chestnut, "I'm not in love, but I'm going to #$!* you until someone better comes along."

Longtime lurker, first time posting. I'd just like to say "about freakin' time!"

This comic is incredible, both art and storywise, and despite some naysayers in the forum, I feel that the finally realized romance between Benny and Cale will ultimately enrich the storyline. Both are deeply compelling characters with differing views on ethics and morality and this will undoubtedly make for some damn good reading, if not comedy.

Also, Benny is hot. That is all.

What does Cale being white have to do with anything?
