By mythology I meant Greek, specifically the story of Eurydice. Also there is a leviathan at some point though you never actually see it in that form.

mythology really shouldn't be assosiated with greek/norse/egyptian or ANY type, it's misleading to think that Mythology refers to only one civilization, when it's infact a very general and encompaseing term

I realize that, that's why I was more specific in my second post. When I think of mythology I tend to think of those in general as I used to read books on them in highschool after I read everything interesting in the scifi/fantasy section.

In my experience when T-Rex's eat curry to get their mouth to stop burning they eat two and a half tons of mint choc ice cream, followed by four hundred crates of orange ice-pops, and follows it all down with two thousand gallons of coca cola. Then gets very sick. Not a good idea to be in the general vicinity.

There's this demented mental picture that I can't get out of my head. I don't really expect them to end up with any children, but if they did, I can just imagine how the child would relate to "Uncle Richard".

See, I picture Richard going in search of the little one (ala a midnight snack) one night when Mommy and Daddy aren't keeping a close enough eye on the tyke. He tries to pick the kid up out of their cradle but the sharp-toothed little ...thing... bites him- hard. Of course, Richard being Richard wouldn't be ticked at all. I could see him staring at the child in wonderment, then clapping his hands together with an adoring expression on his face and saying,

"It's just... so... PRECIOUS!"

and then rethinking the whole snack idea in favor of trying to teach the little one to emulate him.
