Aren't you that guy who posted those annoying polls?
Also, this is a flame war waiting to happen. Don't flame people or call them retards, it'll get you a swift kick in the arse.

While I may have my own set of political beliefs, I doubt I'd want to read anything that tried to push the writers views down my throat at the same time, even if I agreed with them.

Perhaps it can be done in Science Fiction but politicizing any work of fantasy would be a horrible idea. Look at what happened when Dave Sim decided to use Cerebus as his own personal misogynist loud speaker.
Writers who turn their works into political soapboxes deserve nothing but scorn, Exhibit A: the last few seasons of Family Guy, I can't even watch that show anymore.
Also the poll shouldn't have an option for "Republican" or "Democrat" but "Conservative" or "Liberal" seeing as the creators are Canadian and wouldn't care about American politics.

I just don't see how you could possibly put politics into this comic without ruining it.
And no Beater politics are not "cool" in the sense that they don't make for an interesting read. Why did you even include option two?

well i voted no simply because a) it would clash so bad with a fantasy setting, and

a lot of the fan base seems to be in other parts of the world from America so wouldn't get half of the jokes

I don't think the OP realized it was a Canadian webcomic. Although I'm not even sure he knows what politics really are.

I get the feeling he wanted to have an argument. Unfortunately, it seems he's accidentally wound up in the room for abuse. A sad mistake. (... loony git)
I hope someone gets that reference.

There is already politics in the comic. Witness Richard's economic stimulus OF DEATH.

This is going to go nowhere but downhill from here.
Also, just a note: I'd rather you ignored a topic completely if you felt it was trolling, rather than jump in and feed the fire with "Do not feed the troll" or "Wow, someone's looking for a fight" or some other similar comment. Really, it's not helping.
