Hey all!

While maybe not officially here according to astronomers and almanacs, September heralds the start of autumn and the 'back to work' attitude of many people. Of course, some of us never stop working so it's kind of moot. Nevertheless the cool evenings and brisker breezes bring a clarity to the past couple of months and re-invigorate the senses as the leaves change.

I want to thank all of you who came out to the various conventions to say hi to Sohmer and I. The convention schedule is a hectic one, barely leaving us time to do our laundry and repack before rushing off to the next show but hot damn they are fun and made moreso by the new friends and old we have made among our readers. Sohmer and I spend most of our year in this virtual vacuum so being able to look you in the eye to say 'thank you for reading' is a great feeling.

Thank you too, to those who've stuck with us over the summer, and continue to bring new readers to the site. Despite a few late nights spent in the hotel frantically working, we managed to maintain our update schedule pretty intact and kept the quality high.

I'll tell you one thing more, the real moments of win, the moments that just don't get old are the random happenstances when someone will walk by, pause and then exclaim "Aren't you Lar?" "Aren't you Sohmer?"

Those are awesome. And I have quite a few stories to share about those too. But not here. Not yet.

Why?

Because one more thing autumn brings is the resumption of my Ustream schedule!! That's right, tonight I'll be relaunching my weekly video cast over at Ustream.tv beginning at 8pm ET and running till around midnight. I'll be working on strips, random art, and doing my best to keep up with the chat stream to answer your questions and comments in real time, as well as share a few anecdotes and play a little jawharp.
