How come he has his robe, shining like new, and feels totaly ok and in good mood (killing some animals all night) when he was burried in lava no so long ago? Where is explenation for that? I wanted to see how he did it.
cwolf20
The explanation is simple. It never burned. He just wanted to freak out the person who dug him out, by being naked.
Faellen
It's Richard.. He doesn't NEED an explanation ^.^

I'll refine that statement: It's a comedy webcomic, it doesn't need an explanation for what happens off-panel. Assume he had an extra robe that he gave to Benny for safekeeping.

Or he made it from those weird sheep pigs he killed and simply used dark magic to give it color?
Jonath
I doubt it, they don't look like they're good for making textiles. The fur looks too bristly and thick.
Devin Austra
Knowing Richard, he didn't use the fur...

I allso agree, it's Richard, he simply stripped just for the purpose to see the reaction of the one finding him.
and now it feels like Richard is slowly becomming LFG fans version of Chuck Norris... shame on us smile.gif

its a magical cloak?
Jonath
A wizard (well technically a Warlock) did it.
Beron
Maybe he went to Robes R Us and got a new one?
ExcaliburBlade
Its Richard if he thought it would damange another mind to be dug up without any cloths on he would do it just to see the look on their faces.

And you never know where he would hide his cloths. Knowing him he has alot of options.
Jonath
Perhaps he's like the Flash who keeps spare costumes in his ring only Richard keeps spare robes in his gem. Or hell, in the place he keeps all his other crap. laugh.gif

Ring of Holding. happy.gif Or gen (whatever works).

Always remember the (Paraphrased) MST3K mantra. "It's just a webcomic, I should really just relax."

Its Richard, he can probebly make spares with his mind, kinda like arrows. Or maybe he just likes showing off to show Bloodrage how small they really are. Who can say. Richard, thats who.

And gives high fives when he gets a strike. Bowling metaphors: love em, leave em, or send em to the laundromat.

Thank you for killing me a little on the inside.
ExcaliburBlade
He could always be naked and just make poeple thing he has cloths.

Painted on?!?!?!?! ohmy.gif laugh.gif

Kind of like how Mystique is really naked all the time but uses her shapeshifting to give herself clothes. I'm not sure Richard can shapeshift but he can probably cast illusions over his body.

You're quite welcome.

The likeliest thing, and it's almsot 4 AM so... I'm ready to crash, so I don't have the desire to go back and look for who initially said it...the phylactery shard, gem, or whatever device binds Richard. That is the likeliest place to retain a spare, folded very neatly compactly, to fit into a small, flame retardant compartment (my opinion only).
Fel Kitteh
He's an Uber powerful warlock. He can't be hurt and neither can his clothes. Thats what im going with as a reason. But really i have no idea. I guess he's just that awesome biggrin.gif

He's been hurt before, and he's had clothing damage. As a character of a comic he has the ability to keep spare outfits in safe places no one else knows about.
Fel Kitteh
wait i just remembered that Krunch said Richard was naked when he pulled Richard out of the lava. So he had to have gotten a new robe. Or did he blink.gif
Jonath
That was Ray'd.
It was a throwaway joke, Sohmer probably wouldn't have been able to explain it anyway. Other than to just say a Wizard did it.
