And Richard ruins yet another wonderfully dramatic moment.
But that's why we love him.

Stupid question: the line Cale said, what's it from? I'm sure I recognize it...
EDIT: Also, dramatic Cale looks kinda... weird. o.O

No such thing as a stupid question. It's from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Legolas says it. Fitting. And elf line for an elf.

Just noticed, we're getting less panels this week. We used to get 10-12 and today's was four, while Monday's was five. Standard comic usually, but it feels like they're trying to stretch it out.

Man, I hate those sleepless nights. You just have to do something with all your energy or you'll go insane. I think we can all agree that it's a good thing Richard chose to do something. The last thing we need is an insane Richard... well, crazy insane, not homicidal insane, at least.

Over the summer, the panels have been noticeably shorter(less), causing the comic to feel shorter overall and like they're dragging it out a bit. The most likely reason is that it's summer which is con season. They've been hella busy. When things settle down and we roll into the winter months, I'm hoping they'll return to 'longer' comics with more to them. Hopefully.
To this page - Richard found new clothes.

Oh, and I like how Krunch just
smiles at him. Like he expected him to do something like that and he's happy it's right on cue. Hehe. They sure have become desensitized. Ahhh, the sacrifices one makes to travel with an 'all powerful' warlock.

Which would make it a Red Dawn...
Possible subtle homage to Patrick Swayze?

Perhaps Cale's eyes appear to be so small because it's still early in the morning, and he's tired? Just a random guess.

That\'s because his left eye
(well, technically it\'s his right eye, but we see it on our lef...whatever) is too far away from his nose and way too close to his brow. It should be brought down and to the right to fit in better with the facial curves. Also, it makes his nose look freaking huge.
I got bored and edited the panel to give you a better visual:

Yeah, I'm real ballsy.
Also, I'm wondering what the second panel was supposed to be. Meh, either way, another arc begins.

ROFL! Yea. IMO, his eyes are small from the long night, being sort of baked and then healed, and so forth. Leave it to Richard, to lighten the mood.

I don't think he'll get one. If you check out the page where the group finds Richard, Cale's neck seems fine. Too bad...

Filler, shameless filler. Funny filler and well drawn filler but filler nonetheless. I really wish that they'd get off this "one Richard joke a strip" thing and go back to multiple jokes from multiple characters but whatever. At least the art was really good.

For those who mention all the filler, it's like someone else said, they have been really busy over the summer with all the conventions, so its to be expected. be appreciative of the fact that they still update on time for us; they could say "Sorry guys, we're traveling so we dont have time, its 1 comic per week until the summer is over"
