SO I went to DragonCon this year and it was my first con ever, a magical expirience... and I even maganged to stumble across the telltale LFG booth of magic and wonder.
While in the midst of all the magic and wonder and sweaty middle-aged men who live in ther mom's basements and were passing this glorious booth with nothing on thier mind, I was busy haggling despratly because I'm a cheap you-know-what.
And then I went over to Lar and I told him about my mystical drawing powers and that if I made drawings for him, maybe he could be willing to do an art trade...
So I did, and I was led to believe that he liked them, and agreed to to a trade. But alas, time had run out and I had to leave, and so I never got the promised other half of the trade, and I was a very sad Panda.
So, after attempts at contacting him via e-mail (as he told me to do..., although he proably gets lots of e-mail and has little time and etc.) I am calling myself rejected and posting my pathetic sob story here so you wenches can pity this poor fool who was led to believe that thier art was worth something.

I'll get over it, but I remember debts.
He has the things I drew for him, I never got the chance to scan them or snap photos.

Post your pics in the non-art picture thread (or whatever it's called) that's stickied in the forum. Then we can all see your artistic skills.
But lemme get this straight, you weren't able to complete the rest of the trade because you had to leave? That's it?

But he is kind of right, to a degree & you've already agreed with that, saying he's both busy & usually bogged down by e-mails.
I don't think it's quite worth the rant, well, annoyance post, but then again I guess when something like that happens, meeting an Artist you might as well consider the god of Artists, then I suppose it's something you should cling to like your own heart...
Oh well, I'd just have been happy to have met him, let alone actually be owed art by him.. I shouldn't worry about it. Odds are he'll reply, eventually, or you could try & ask him on Twitter, he seems to be fairly active on there in regards to questions & such.

Calling people dear is just a habit of mine. Sorry if it bothers you. I try to stop myself, really I do.
Double posting is seen as post-whoring. It's frowned upon and we let it slide when it's accidental, but don't do it on purpose or we start deleting and editing. It's unfair to the people who have been here for a long time. Next time it's on purpose will be an official warning (you get maybe three of these) and then we take further action.
I realize you're new, but I urge you to read the rules if you haven't already. There may seem to be favoritism, but there really isn't. We try to treat everyone on the same level. If anything, we go easier on new members to allow an adjustment period.

If other users decide to start an argument about it and flame, that's their fault, not hers. I don't buy into "But they started it", "They were asking for it", "They made me do it" or any other excuse that tries to fob off the blame on someone else. Everyone here is responsible for their own posts.
Also, nothing wrong with what you edited in there (so far) but it's not a good idea to edit your post after it got
