To be fair, they were planning on escaping and were only trapped at the temple because spent so long doing their hair and packing their clothes and then 800 of them realized they were wearing the same outfit so they had to change and then BAM, the Legion surrounded them.

Aww, I loved that movie. I haven't seen it in ages, though.

You know, I could have bought that because of the whole "They're moving so fast we have to actually slow it down so you can see what's happening." excuse, if it weren't for the fact they spent a minimum of ten minutes chatting during the whole thing. I don't care how fast they can punch each other, they can't spew out ten minutes worth of dialogue in three.

As for what I actually think the fusion will involve, I'd have to bet on the fusion of all their spiritual essences into a single unstoppable personification of anima and animus, either by granting all their combined strength, wisdom, intelligence, cunning, and magic to one individual, most likely the good (well, chaotic neutral actually seems more accurate) captain, or a spiritual construct.

Well to be fair Freeza did reference how long it was taking some time into it by saying "this a tough one" about Namek, it still doesn't go nearly far enough though.

That's a pretty sweet idea but I still prefer my idea of the sisters infusing their spiritual essence into the bodies of the sons, thus creating priestly-empowered warriors (Paladins) If they did your idea with the Captain then it would be a bit like Captain Planet/the Infinity Man

Yeah, but on the other hand badass glowing Tah'vray wading her way through an army of legionnaires, tossing them around as if they were nothing but pathetic ragdolls like a pissed off Sith lord... Even I'd find that hot, regardless of her being far too skinny.

When you say it like it reminds me of the scene in Fellowship of the Ring where Sauron wades through the Last Alliance's army with that huge mace smashing and bashing all who stood against him.

Also, I wonder if they did grant her all their powers, would Sohmer be able to resist "By your powers combined... I am Captain Tah'vray!"

That would basically be the same as DBZ fusion. If it's DBZ fusion, will it be fusion dance, or earrings I wonder?

I always remember it as being 'sim sim sala bim', but I've only watched the original series, which still has the coolest instrumental music of any American cartoon. I have to qualify because of Cowboy Beebop, which also works in jazz, but not the big band stuff.

Well it's been quite a few years since I've seen it, so I probably left off a Sim.

Personally I think the greatest instrumental music of any cartoon would have to be the FIRST (not any of the sequels who had completely different production teams) Land Before Time movie's music. In second place is the theme song for Batman the Animated Series (the 90's one, not the one where Penguin is a ninja and Bruce Wayne "shoots hoops"... * shudder*)

How can they be priesty empowered warriors? The sons are mages, not warriors. And how do you know it's not the sons that will be used to empower the sisters? Or that one side will give up power to the other? That's actually a pretty stupid move as it eliminates half your force.

If the sisters (priests) empowered the sons (if you paid attention almost all of them are warriors, only a few are mages) then you'd get Paladins. Besides the sisters probably aren't cracked up for fighting as most of what they do is just sit around and make pottery or something. If you give their powers to the warriors then you increase your force's effectiveness and make it less unwieldy.

lol, never wathced DBZ so I wouldn't have guessed that but my mind went to the movie "Robots" when in the end the dad is playing music horribly and no-one likes it but Fender who says: "It's a fusion of jazz and funk. I call it 'junk'!"

Okay i htink there will be 2 options here:

1: The sisters will magically fuse power to the Sons and give them Paladin powers

2: They will teleport everyone and everything to Kathencia

I doubt they even know about Kethenicia

To be honest, I think that the sisters might fuse the sons into the stone golems to fight against the Legions army. The sisters are casters and the sons are fighters. Add a stone body and the perfect armored warrior ready to fight?

That wouldn't make much sense, the Golems are autonomous so adding the sons to them wouldn't do much for them. It would only rob the sisters of lighter, more maneuverable warriors.

True....But who knows....The golems might or not be autonomous! Require a soul to move them, like what Richard did before when he attached his gem to the statue/golem to control it?

The whole point of a golem is autonomy, the original mythological golems were Jewish folklore creatures whose very nature derives from their autonomy (otherwise they'd just be statues wouldn't they?) they are inanimate matter animated, essentially robots.

Really? Jewish folklore? I always think of the two gold and silver automatons Hephaistos had in his forge, but it looks like there is an even earlier example of robot-things. But Kaienta is sort of right, in most modern interpretations (D&D anyone? ) a golem is fueled by a bound spirit.
