This is sort of a response to the best Lfg character topic. I want to figure out who the fans think is the scrappy of the comic, if there is one.

Yeah it looks like Pella, but it's still too early to tell.

I'm not too fond of Aelloon.
He's irritating.

I agree on some levels that Aelloon is an irritating person but it's difficult for the main villain to be the scrappy. In this case I think Pella comes closest.

I really don't like to think in negative terms like who is the worst or the person I like the least. I find something I like in just about any character of a work I like. There are exceptions, of course, but not with this comic so far as I've seen.
Besides, I like Pella. I have ever since she introduced herself with "Hammer to Fall".

I voted Pella, but I'm reconsidering now. I don't think she's a terrible character she just seems kinda superfluous sometimes. You know like the way half the cast of Yugioh was superfluous.

I think that all the charators are there for a reason at one point or another, and sofar each has done an important thing, though I think the one charator that is not incredably important is Tim, not to say that I don't like Tim, he's really funny. I also agree that the main villan can't be called the scrappy as he does play a very important role.

Whoever voted Richard, I salute you.

Seen as Richard is one of the most popular charators, I am rather suprized that people concider him as a scrappy. After all, he does do some very important things for the group, mostly kill things, but still, that does help... in most cases.

I don't like Richard nearly as much as most of the people here do but I wouldn't consider him the worst character. Early on he was my favorite in fact but since the fifth issue his jokes have been lame and he's started to annoy me. Still he's far from the worst and he can't be the scrappy if he's the flagship character.

Cale, even if he's had an alignment shift from lawful anal to neutral good, elves just irk me. Unless they're drow of course, drow are awesome. Real drow though, none of this milksop "I'm a rebel who believes drow should dance and frolic and sing John Lennon songs!" bullcrap. I mean "I'll rip your heart out through your nostril and show it to just because you dared to look at me, pitiful male!" drow.

I don't hate any of the characters, but I voted for Tim because if he were a main character instead of a supporting character, he'd be as annoying as Scrappy and for much the same reasons. A little Scrappy is fine, A whole lot of Scrappy is awful. Sort of like
cordrazine.

Richard would be the scrappy but for the fact that 80% of the fanbase is madly in love with him. If another character stole as much time as he did you can bet they'd be more reviled than Garrosh Hellscream and Weshley Crusher put together.

I think i'm the only one who thinks this, but...
Captain Tah'Vraay irks me. :|
She just does..

As a general rule sexy characters can never be scrappys unless they're really, really bad. Case in point: T'Pol from Enterprise, sure she acted like an arrogant bitch but she was still the sexiest girl on the show. Hence she never was the scrappy.

The results placing Pella in first say otherwise.
Jonath
Sep 11 2009, 12:44 AM
Well that's a matter of opinion isn't it? Pella is pretty low on my list of sexy characters, Benny and Tah'vraay tie for first followed by a blank space for second, then there's Pella at third. It's not the muscle that bothers me, it's the proportion, if she we're tall she'd be fine.
Rurik
Sep 11 2009, 12:58 AM
Eh, it helps for me to imagine the muscle as fat, otherwise there wouldn't be any characters even remotely hot.
