I know this may seem sudden, and odd, considering I haven't actually been to the forum for three months in any official capacity. And, I also know that many of you only vaguely remember my. . . 6th month period of posting, but I would like to post and update a story on three points of contention.

A.) You would read a Fiction Story of my own making. (Read as Fantasy Fiction, please)

B.) You would Give Feedback on it, beyond the "You are Awesome" and "EPIC FAILURE" post. (Though to be honest I don't expect to see the latter of the two.

C.) And the most important of the three, YOU WOULD READ, after all, it is kinda the basis for A, and B.

I believe that actually having a decent reader-base to help me write it, and it would not be short by anymeans, would help me find the inspiration to write more, not just as my muse takes me. If responses happen, I will gladly post what has already been written, up to a point where I'm finishing off the section.

Updates might not happen too fast, as I have night-shift at Wal(spark)Mart. . . And am heading to School next Friday. . . So my time may not be as great as possible.

Ephear! Welcome back, mate! I haven't seen you in a long while ^^

Funny how I read your profile a while back...

But, yea. What's up?

Aside from my obvious excitement of seeing you back...

I'll do A, for I am not very good at critiquing... but I may possibly choose C. If anything, I want to see what you got. I won't promise you I'll post frequently, but I'll read it. If I feel the need to make a comment (such as praise or critique or both), the I'll do so. But don't expect it to be clockwork.

I would like to know what it's about, like a basic outline.

Hm... Well, I pity you for having a job at Wal-Mart (evil, that place) and I envy you that you're going back to school Friday (for my summer wasn't as great as it should've been). But, I am glad you have returned, even if it's for a little while. Well, I pray you'll run back to the RP Forum (and read some of my stories if you'd like... I don't expect you to, anyway '>.>)

As for my final say:

Welcome back Ephear!

Basic High Fantasy setting, Humans and Elves and Half-elves and xenophobia, Goblins and trolls are increasing Raids, Main character is orphaned (Like I could choose anything original for an origin story). I want to keep some of the tension, so you'll have to forgo in-depth storyline.

Elves and Human's have a bit of xenophobia still about them, moreso the ones who live farther from the border between the two large nations, but has been calmed ever since the War of Extinction about 500 Years ago brought to them by the Goblins and Trolls, where the mountains where the only Dwarfs known was overrun. The Humans and Elves were banded together by Diana, whose mystifying powers unknown to either races magic saved them from being decimated themselves, and allowed them to beat back the horde. The two races decided to Found a city jointly ruled by each other in the honor of Diana, whose Statue remains in the main square of the city. This city is were the vast majority of Humans and Elves imingle, and the conveniently located and shunned Half-Elves live, due to all the mingling. Tensions are being raised by the Nobles on either side of the (Human) Sanguine Kingdom, and the (Elven) Sylvarian Kingdom, while an increase in activity is comming from the mountains of the Dead Dwarves, and not in a good way.

And That is the gist of it.

Ah, I see. Sounds good, so I'll most definitely read it. (Though the orphan bit is a tad cliche wink.gif Hopefully you'll make up for it with your storytelling).

It is Cliche, but, What else could I have done to even make it reasonable? The Main Character being a jaded adventurer? Wouldn't work, as the series starts with a baby (the main character, and a monk)

I'm posting part of it now Under Diana Wars, so it should be there in Five Minutes.

Ah. I see. (I like monk characters!!!)

Well, unfortunately, I am off to bed. I'll read it when I return from the store with my father (I have to go to the store as soon as I wake up, unfortunately). Sorry sad.gif

Sorry anyone who cares to read my story for being the huge wall of text that it is. . .

Comments are appreciated, just so I think that people are reading it at the very least, and I thank you if you actually want to critique that block as well.

I might want to use this thread as a sort of Q and A thread as well, just so it doesn't seem so. . . Barren and devoid of all purpose.

Aside from that:

Sess, I would possibly join the RP's again on two conditions, acknowledgement that I will rarely get in posts, and that one is started up later, as most of them are off the ground atleast, and I rather not slow down the pace OR sidetrack anything by both joining in later or by needing more time to work around my schedule or do other things. If the RP can except a slow pace then yes, I can join, but I don't want to feel bad about doing that either.
