Ahh, Walter. Very sad. His passing is much more important than Farrah or Billy or even Michael (arguably), but he won't get nearly as much attention. A real shame, that...

Walter's Wiki ^ Walter Cronkite's wikipedia page.
The man was a legend in broadcasting/journalism.

Sad as I am about Cronkite's passing, it really was his time. The guy has been crazy sick, and I'd rather him go now than suffer more.

Plus...uh...wasn't he 90 or something? 92? Somewhere in there? I don't know about you, but once you hit 80, 85, unless you worked extra hard to keep yourself healthy through your life, you're pretty much done. You can't do a whole lot physically, so there isn't a lot you can do in general. Maybe travel and see stuff, if you happen to have the money.
Point being, death is a natural part of life and at that age, it was bound to happen eventually. At least he lived a long fulfilling life that he could be proud of. *nod*

Not only that, but Walter can rest proud knowing that for 92 years he never effed up and besmirched his good name, not even once. There are people who can't go 20 minutes, let alone their whole lives.

Walty, we'll miss you. We're sorry the cryogenetic staff wouldn't freeze you.

Well the thing is Walter was about 92 years old and REALLY sick. So it was expected. But Billy and Michael's deaths just came out of the blue, like Steve Erwin a few years back.
