Tell me what you think of this one, I'm not quite sure.

An old gremlin hobbled over to a figure encased in ice. It's orange eyes flickered open a more gremlins climbed atop the ice and danced about. The old one got close to the ice and seemed to talk with the shadowy figure, "An Overlord, you say? Destruction and chaos! Blood and carnage! Oh! This is good news!" He nodded to a small gremlin that was wearing a seal hat, "Fire up the dragon!" A bolt of flames melted the ice.
And so evil was grown in the depths of the earth, and on the surface all cheered as their emperor waved from the balcony. Everyone was happy, and those who were not were killed, enslaved or other nasty things. Soldiers marched down the road, heads held high with pride. The emperor's wave was innterupted as a great crack formed in the earth. Gremlins shot out of it with their Overlord commanding the destruction of the country. Lightning crackled in the dark clouds above as every living thing was mercilessly slaughtered. The city was left in a ruin of no repair, it's ashes littering the once beautiful grassland, now a desert of heat and misery.
A new age dawns. The age of the Overlord!

The group trudged down the road, Richard setting fire to the trees as they passed. They were going to the grassland country, Wavia, to collect some supplies and rest for a month. Cale was not the only one who gasped in shock of the barren wasteland that was in it's place. They saw no life, or thought they did. A small gremlin had seen them come and ran off to tell the master. His thoughts were only focusing on the wonderful execution that would conclude as he told his master of the intruders.

Today, actually. I got the idea from the demo. I have played for half the day already. You don't usually get to be the evil guy in most games, and in this one you try to destroy the entire world! It is such a fun game.........
I was hoping it would take a little longer before I was found out. I only took a little bit from the intro of the game.......

The small gremlin hopped up the steps and prepared to give the master the news.
"Why are you here?" the Overlord asked.
"I see intruders coming from the entrance with candy! And they look like they come from Glorious Empire! I don't like the empire, they're to shiny."
"Send twelve minions to capture them and take them here for execution." he nodded to the minion master.
"Right away, sire."

"What happened to this place? It was supposed to be lush with life!"
"It was conquered by and evil overlord who is residing in some palace beneath us called netherworld." Richard said.
"How do you know that?" Cale looked at Richard.
"Because it's written on the sign above us."
"Oh. Well, then, do you know how to get to the netherworld before he conquers more? All evil must be destroyed!"
"Through that portal that says "Portal to Netherworld"
"Of course, let's go."
They made about the biggest mistake since they met by stepping into that portal, they reallt did.
The emerged with hundreds of gremlins surrounding them.
"This is bad." Benny said.
"My wish came true! I wanted something to kill, and now there's millions for me to kill!" Richard yelled excitedly. His hands fired up and he sent one's leg on fire, who just stood there and said, "What's cooking? Smells good. I hungry now."
Richard was a bit annoyed that his victim wasn't screaming, so he sent the entire thing on fire, he still stood there asking if dinner was cooking. The others who were burnt asked the same thing and a few ran to the kitchen. They were distracted from attacking and all piled into the kitchen. The group was left alone to find their own way to the Overlord.
Richard was disappointed, "That was the worst slaughter I've ever experianced. They didn't scream at all! I'll incinerate their leader and then we'll see who's screaming." Richard grumbled as they walked through the hall.


Now I'm hungry.

poor Richard, he gets angry and search for the guilty "Overlord" now....that will be interesting!

I'll get more up today, I have more ready. And they will be encountering the Overlord.

They walked straight up to the throne were the Overlord was sitting.
Richard was the first to approach,"Your dumb minions don't even scream when I set them on fire! They just ask if dinner's ready! It was the worst slaughtering EVER!"
"I've trained them well. Now I expect you're here to kill me?" the Overlord responded, his voice sounding very similar to a Death Knight
"No, incinerate you. Incinerating is different from killing, it is much more ashy." Richard answered.
"I'm afraid that you won't be able to do that."
"Why?" Richard said as his hands burst int flame.
"That's why." he nodded to the door that was filled with gremlins of all colors. They charged and held each member of the group in place, except for Richard who boredly set some some on fire who went to see if there was a snack cooking. He stood there and got ready to destroy this Overlord person.
"I'd suggest you wait to slake your thirst for blood, Warlock."
"Why would I do that?" Richard asked.
"Because I said so."
"I don't listen to anybody."
"You do now. You wouldn't want to upset your old partner, would you? Ring any bells?"
"Wait." Richard said and rang a little bell, "Yes it does, but I thought I killed you after I threw in the volcano when I was bored! I even kept your ashes in a little jar, see?" Richard held up a jar.
"Spell, entwine stone, remember?"
"Oh, yeah. I knew that was it."
"When did you meet with her?" he nodded towards Cale.
"After I threw you in the volcano, I was still bored. So I saw Cale here and was about to kill her and take her cloak when I overheard Cale saying she was going to help people in distress and all that noble stuff!"
"Really? Is she evil yet?"
"No, she's not."
"I am not a female!" Cale yelled when Richard and the Overlord called him she.
"See? Totally insane." Richard sighed, "She's a lost cause."
"I agree. But I wanted to ask you, i have minions that help me destroy and kill many, I have killed and destroyed many without them, and it would be the end of the world if you would com with me to destroy it. Will you join me?"
All eyes were on Richard.
"Hmm, very nice offer....Maybe...." Richard pondered aloud.

hehe the overlord is also a "good" old friend from Richard?! that was surprising and i wonder what decicion he makes.
Will he join the Overlord or still follow Cale and the others. And how they feel when he really leave them and slaughter the world and they must fight against

I have part of the post done, but only Richard's decision. After that I have major writer's block. And nothing stops writer block except some heavy object thrown at my skull. Like the famous brick.

okay so than wrote more and than post it

I'm working on it, but I also have to think of more for two other fanfics at the same time, so I'll write down what I have for those two, then think of some thing for this.

Well, you shouldn't have started more than one fanfic!

I wanted to. Keeps me busy, and I have enough time to get more on each every day. I don't regret any of them. I just have a bit of writer's block on this one.

"No way am I joining you again. You're competition, and I don't like competition!" Richard answered.
"Okay, would you like to be killed by the lava pits, or pulled apart by my minions?" the Overlord asked.
"Neither." Richard answered as his hands burst into flame and he lunged at the Overlord.
"Oh! You're going with the rabid boars, good choice!"
"Nope. We're going with the act of killing you!" The group broke away from the minions and all lunged towards the Overlord. They ran into a wall of magic and slid down it like it was a wall of glass. Richard was first up and saw the new minions gathered around armed with clubs, swords, and a few were holding up another minion as a weapon. The others got up and Richard pulled out a small stone which he used to create a small portal to a town on the out skirts of the Overlord's realm.
"Hurry!" he called as he tried to keep it open. The others got through, but as soon as Cale walked through the portal he couldn't hold it any longer and the stone disappeared, leaving Richard all alone with thousands of gremlins snarling at him and an Overlord intent on his death.

Poor Richard

You probably want to kill me with tension.
Really poor Richard. The Gremlins are certainly no problem, but so many all at once and then still the Overlord.

Will the others rescue him? How does it go on?

Richard stared at the millions of gremlins ready to attack as soon as they were told. Richard suddenly had a plan forming in his head.
"How about a duel? One-on-one?" Richard asked.
"That would be amusing. Set your terms."
"If I win, I kill you and will be the new Overlord."
"Hm. Okay, and if I win, I will kill you and all of your friends."
"One."
"Two."
"Three. The duel has begun."
Richard and the Overlord stared intensely at each other. Richard flexed his fingers. The Overlord popped his neck. Then the joker started to play this. The Overlord's eye twitched, and Richard cracked his knuckles. The Overlord swung his sword as Richard juggled fireballs.
The Overlord pointed his sword at Richard, "Ready to die? And will you stop that, Quaver!" he yelled at the joker, who stopped playing instantly.
Richard answered by throwing several fireballs at the Overlord, all were blocked by his sword. The Overlord managed a strike to Richard side, that sent him flying. Richard jumped up into the air and pushed of the ceiling, roaring with flames. Richard was coming down onto the Overlord at the speed of eighty miles per hour. (It's a really high ceiling.)The Overlord was stunned as he watched the Richard-meteor come blazing down on him. Then at the last second he ran out of the way and flipped a switch, a switch that let a net out. The net wrapped around Richard keeping him from moving. The Overlord walked over to the small bundle that was Richard.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? It looks to me like a loser in a duel, pity. I think I'll send my dragon army on your friends, and I'll kill you myself!" The Overlord started to create a life-taking bolt of energy to kill Richard with. He aimed at the rope net and prepared to let the bolt of energy fly from his palm and soar towards Richard. Richard panicked. (That's a first) He was going to die.


I'm doing the impossible! I'm killing Richard!

Well, I am a little bit confused already. This is the continuation of "Overlord", but stands here in "Cry of the Icemark" .
I gaz it is sure only one mistake, but a funny mistake

And I am glad you like my fanfics, and no, I won't be staying really close to the game. I might put in a few things I like from the game into here, but I won't copy it completely. Mostly inspiration.

Right as the Overlord was about to let the bolt fly at Richard, a loud burst of music made him jump and the energy flew towards the ceiling and killed a minion instead. Quaver, the joker and begun to play this for no reason at all.
Richard burned the rope instantly and jumped through a quickly made portal.
"QUAVER!" the overlord screamed as Richard escaped.

Cale was trying to find a way to create a portal back to Richard when he cam tumbling out if one right into Cale.
"RICHARD!" Cale yelled with joy and pulled him into a hug. He was soon a pile of ash resting on the ground.
"Don't TOUCH me." Richard said as he brushed off his robe.
Cale sighed.

Yeah he had escaped
And Cale wa so cute pulled him into a hug that makes ash of him
But the Overlord seems a little bit angry about his still alive enemy.
I wonder how that` go one.

"I say we should leave him alone." Benny said.
"No! We have to destroy this scourge just like we are going to do with Lagarion!" Cale said.
"And have we beaten Lagarion yet? I don't think so."
"The Overlord is faster with his efforts. By the time we get to Lagara it will have been destroyed by him already!"
"Which is for the best! He will surely defeat them faster then we can."
"There are innocents among Lagarion! Many of them have done no crime but being born in their empire!"
"A few people can die to save the world!'
"Haven't we killed enough people, Benny? Think of the millions we have already slaughtered! The ones Richard has slaughtered in the midst of us is enough of a fill for all of us!"
"And more can stand being killed! Do you want to save just a few lives, or the entire population of the world!"
"No more must die!"
"More have to die, Cale! Many more!"
"You don't know that!"
"I do, Cale, I do! I know more will have to be sacrificed for our goal!"

"It's what is going to happen and you can't change it!"
"Then I'll leave! And I'll save Azeroth without killing!"

I also think they should talk with Richard about the Overlord, I mean he knows him from the past and had maybe a clue what he planed to do next, besides send dragons after them

"Shouldn't we go get him? Pinky could get hurt out the-" Krunch began, then Richard stuck one boney finger in the air.
"Shh! One, two, three." Cale then came back through the trees.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have run off like that. Can you forgive me?"
"Sure. You just need to accept that more will be killed. It's a small price to pay considering the lives we'll save." Benny said softly to Cale.
"I know. We should get moving. Richard? Do you know what would be the best way to defeat this Overlord?"
"Yes."
"Will you tell us?"
"Maybe."
"Come on, Richard!"
"Fine. We have to beat him from the inside. I already have gremlin costumes!" he held up the skin of a few gremlins.
"Is there any other way?"
"Yes. But this is more fun!"
"Pella is the only one who would fit in any of those!" Everyone looked at Pella.
"Oh, no. I be not wearing any of those any time soon."
"Please?'
"No."
"Come on."
"No."
"Richard, what is the other way?"
"You challenge him as another overlord with an army of minions. Whoever wins is the overlord. I don't see an army of Gremlins, Cale. Where will you get them?"
"Isn't there another way?"
"Yes, but is less fun."
"What is it?"
"I don't know." Richard said with a smirk
"Then how do you know it's less fun?"
"Intuition. I know things like that. Let's go with the costume idea!" he held up the bloody gremlin skins.
Cale slapped his palm to his face and sighed.

From the two that ive read so far(Icemark and this one) I think they are both shaping up very nicely, keep up the good work!

"You'll have to climb down them to see which one is it."

"Fine. I won't fight for your side on the battle, then."

"I will take away your fork."

"Here." Richard threw the Fork of Truth at him.

"I will take away your rabbit."

"He needs a break anyway."

What can I do to get Richard to tell me?! Hm. Oh yeah! That will work for sure.

"I guess you can't tell me, then. Only the most evil, powerful warlocks know which one has the gremlins in it. I guess you aren't evil or powerful. And don't deserve any of those titles."

"Nuh-uh! The one that has them is the fourth! See? I am a powerful and evil warlock! No one is better
than me!"

Cale smiled in his head. Thank you, reverse phsycology.

"Well, let's go get them."

"No! We can't do that plan! It's not amusing at all!"

"Well, you told me where to get them. Let's go."

Yeah, Cale does act like Richard's mother. And Cale would not be good at being a lord of Gremlins. That would be an epic fail. You'll just have to wait and see who gets to control the gremlins. It still coul dbe Cale. It might be Richard. It could be Benny. Or maybe even Felbunny(Not likely) I have already decided who. But you have to wait and see who it is.

Richard's eye glinted with mischief, "There is a secret passage you have to use to get the gremlins. And I won't tell you that."

"Why not?" Pella asked.

"I don't want to."

"You have to." Cale said firmly.

"Why?" Richard answered.

"Because of the Code of Warlocks."

"What's that?" Benny asked.

Cale whispered to her, I made it up and wrote it down in a big book in case of emergency."

"I see."

Cale heaved up a giant book and blew off some dust, "In Chapter 567 Page 467 paragraph B line 6."

"Go on." Richard said impatiently.

Cale started to read from the large book, "It was a dark and stormy night. Sunny the Pony was lost in box cave.." Cale stopped as he got odd looks from the group, "Wrong book." He put the book titled, Sunny the Pony. He pulled out another big, dusty book.

"Wait, what happens to the pony?" Richard said sadly.

"Anyway, it says: Any warlock must show a blood elf gremlins in a volcano, or is not a real warlock."
Benny whispered to Cale, "How did you know Richard would need to show us gremlins in a volcano?"
Cale answered, "I didn't. I just couldn't think of anything else to write."

"Sounds about right."

Richard stared at a leaf suspiciously, it burst into flame and he started to walk east, "Okay. Coming?"
The group walked quickly into the sunset. Richard setting Cale's hair on fire, Cale whining, and Benny ready to give lecture about maturity. But knew it wouldn't have any effect.

Want you possibly say me that Richard this not has sees through long ago? With "Because of the Code of Warlocks." I mean he is a Warlock and also not so dumb to let him trick like this again, or?

Hm, or he tricks that over again because there something else other lurks than only Gremlins in this Vulcano.
And I gaz the Dragons found them soon or some other trouble. The Overlord is still angry at Richard and so I gaz he decided something bad for them.

"Wait, what happens to the pony?" Richard said sadly. That was funny

Cale and the others stood before a bubbling volcano with lava streaming from the sides every once in a while. Puffs of gray smoke would blast out of the top with small boulders lying on top, and then crashing to the bottom. Richard wordlessly tapped on a small rock shaped like a door and waited. It opened itself and they strode carefully in, watching out for streams of flying lava or the occasional flaming rock. They soon spotted a small island floating in the sea of fire, with a man on it.

Cale was about to call out when Richard put his hands around Cale's mouth. They seemed to be trembling a little, but Cale figured it was the slight shake of the ground beneath them.

The man was sitting on a throne. No, he seemed to be just a fifteen or sixteen year old boy. His head was down so you couldn't see his eyes. He had black hair that looked as though it was cut right under his ears. He was slender and was wearing a long cape with a high, fancy collar. His hands were on his knees and his hair covered most of his face, only his mouth showed. It formed into a smirk.

"Why, look what we have here, Abatuk. Visitors. Why don't we greet them properly? We don't want to be rude." his voice sounded powerful.

Suddenly the ground beneath them rumbled fiercely, and the rock they were standing on broke into pieces. Each member of the group was standing on their own individual piece of earth as they floated close to the island. Each rock stopped about two yards away.

"Now, why have you come to my volcano?" the strange teenager asked.

"We come in pieces." Richard said swiftly.

"We come in peace! Not pieces! We have come too, um, too..." Cale said. Not sure if he should say their purpose or not.

The island's occupant chuckled darkly, "I know of your intentions, Cale'Anon. Sadly, they are futile."

Cale started to look a little worried. No, he was worried when they walked into the volcano. Now he was near panicking, "Wha-What do you mean?" he asked nervously.

"I mean that the gremlins residing here are not for taking. Only the master of them can control them. And that happens to be me." He lifted his head up slowly," And know that you obviously have knowledge of this place, you must be executed." his last words rang out through the volcano. Mutterings sounded to come from all directions, "Dispose of the bodies neatly, my minions." he said calmly, as if nothing was going to happen.
