I HATE math. My Algebra II teacher completely ruined any chances I had at taking a higher math; she refused to give me any help whatsoever on what I was having trouble with, didn't explain the stuff I'd missed and generally expected me to be up to date. I had no friends in that class, none that I had exchanged phone numbers with, so how could I be up to date? -.-; The woman was crazy. I almost failed the final and passed the class with a D; if I ever have to see another math class on my schedule, I will scream because I am a dee-dee-dee when it comes to math. I have never been good at it; even in elementary school I couldn't comprehend basic subtraction until I got put into a help class!

Tell me please... Was her last name Derlak? bc that sounds just like the same Algebra II teacher I had.

No, that wasn't it.
Gothic: I tried everything. Flash cards, studying (GASP), and I even tried signing up for a tutor but the tutor for my class was already busy because everybody else was having trouble too. I don't know anybody who got an A in that class; and we had a couple of math geniuses who got Cs in Alg II when in Alg I they got As.

No offense but no math genius I know (I know a few) wouldn't get a C in Alg II, the "math geniuses" frome your class may have grasped math early but that's it

"I never did 12th grade Math because I asked by Math teacher when the last time he had a graph a parablet was...and he said grade-level math. So that was awesome."
- Graham Stark.
Too true, Mr. Stark. Incidentally, I'll be reasonably impressed if anyone knows who that is.

I had a good math teacher last year (and I'm really hoping to have her again next year), so that probably helped me, but I've always been one of the "math geniuses" of my classes. The funny thing is, I'm not particularly fond of it. I really prefer English, Visual Arts, and Business Tech (that was a fun class). And yet, Science and Math were my two highest marks or something like that. Strange.

Graham? He's one of the writers and actors behind the sketch comedy series by the
Loading Ready Run crew. What I wonder is where you heard him say that from if you haven't visited the site.
How you can use math is more important than how much you know. That's the difference between physicists and accountants.
