Not sure which is more amusing, a dwarf getting used like a wish bone, or Benny's sudden Richard-like affection for that particular mountain.

Either way, looks like Krunch lives, by the look of that hand and Benny's utter joy when grabbed by it.

Only Richard can look that gleeful while covered in long strings of blood.

I'm not quite sure if I'm proud or frightened by the fact Cale has gone from getting sick at the sight of skeletons [http://lfgcomic.com/page/9] to simply blocking the blood from hitting his face and, seemingly unfazed and genuinely curious, asking Richard what he'd wished for.. before he.. you know. Maybe it's just me, I dunno, but for some reason this page feels a lot like the comic back in the early days. I enjoyed it very much. So many things on this page to love. Wishbones, people-eating mountains, and an adorable face on benny.

edit: reading the page a second time, I noticed Richard grabbed the dwarf by the eyes like a bowling ball. Lmao.

Things to note:

Cales Bow Skills (4 Possible 5 kills in the first panel, nice.)
Richard (He was so unbelievably full of absolute awsome, seriously 'wishes really do come true' and the bollingball.)
Krunch (He is back, YAY!)
Ray'd (He can rip you in half like a peice of white bread.)

Richard goes without saying so I won't belabor that particular point. But Benny's reaction the last two panels are just priceless!

YAY! I KNEW this monday was worth looking forward to! Absolutely lovely mayhem on the dorfs and Richard is so cute when he finds a friend who is willing to engage in his favorite pastime: death!

Ray'd's comment about nobility, revenge and satisfaction seems almost Krunch-like, their brotherhood shines through. His pleased little smile is just the thing to set it off!

And about Cale covering himself to ward off the blood from the wishdwarf: it IS war and the dwarfs are the enemy. Whatever else he may be, he's still a warrior and getting his face needlessly soaked in blood would seem less than prudent. He may have another combat style with "cleaner" kills, but everyone has their own style. Richard and Ray'd do seem a bit messy, but being a hardened warrior (and having been around Richard for quite some time) means that he's not really squeamish anymore.

The smile on Benny's face is great, she HAS missed her daddy very much, after all. Great reference to the people-eating mountain, as well.

*sits back to read today's page a few more times with a big ol' smile on his face*

Daaaaaaamn, what Richard and Ray'd did to that dwarf is pretty much the most violent scene in that comic so far...
I mean, first poking a guys eyes out and then ripping him apart with bare hands when they both could've easily killed him without that sociopathic cruelty--- I guess you can expect nothing less from Richard, but Ray'ds insanity level just went a good degree up for me...
Also, totally agreeing that Benny is sweet as hell in that last panel...

Ray'd isn't crazy, just pissed. Remember, these guys slaughtered his clan, killed his father, took his arm, and left him for dead. I'd say that's pretty good justification to be as mercilessly cruel as you want to them.

hmm, I would agree if it was an immediate reaction, like Krunchs apparent killing spree, but he had plenty of time to reflect. Which means that Ray'd is'nt presenting rage here, but rather a hatred that makes him want to rip any dwarf in the world apart. And that's pretty close to what I would call insanity...
