Well, ILR, since your name is "Iloverichard", you're probably going to like him. Unless your name is some kind of annoying misnomer, in which case I'm going to throw you in the way when he starts the midget slaughter.
By the way, I am just loving the detail put in on the instagib. Really adds in some character to the kill..

Of course, now Richard has to put in a little more than the absolute minimal effort he's been at this point; just to stay ahead of Ray'd.

I don't think Ray'd looks too disappointed with his new arm, though he may be thinking about carrying around a bucket of water so he can rinse of the gooey remains of those he dislikes
And Cale with his bow: MULTIKILL! Nice!

Unfortunately, this is the first time in about a year I've had time to do more than skip to the last page and throw on my ten cents. What are you referring to?
Also, is it me, or has Cale not used his bow much in a while? I haven't noticed as much Archery as I have swordsmanship in quite a number of strips.

Now all they need to do is find Krunch and they have the group all back together again!!!

This is so exciting, I can't wait to see what happened to him. That would totally suck if he was already dead when they found him. haha. :X

My money's on that Krunch appears either during a last stand to save the day, or we find him on the receiving end of a bum-kicking.
Wait, have we had a threat yet to compile Insane Krunch Theories? I'm going to go search for it while I wait for RVI to tell me what I apparently missed..

Notice that Benny and Pella are the ones headed for the moutain while the boys fight the dwarves. Seems sexist at first, but it's actually smart. Pella won't fight her own kin and Benny's attacks are defensive, not offensive. Also, while Benny could heal, Pella on her own might get attacked since she's a dwarf herself. The gnomes will recognise Benny from when they fought the trolls and Richard's too much of a power house to go with them when he could be fighting.
Yeah, I'm over thinking this a little.

You know, I can't tell if Richard WAS joking, or if he really doesn't remember him not having a metal arm. If it's the latter, it kind of pokes a hole in the "Richard knew the Arch-mage." theory.

For that matter, where'd he get the BOW from? He didn't have it in the last strip, and now it magically appears. It's too big and oddly shaped to have hidden it under his cloak, and if it were slung across his shoulders we would've seen it. There's only one possible conclusion: he pulled it from Hammerspace.
Also, I was thinking the same thing about Cale not having used his bow in ages. In fact, I can't remember him having used it ONCE since he got the swords!

First off: Richard is made of awesome. I literally was rolling on the floor, doubled over laughing and banging the ground. I think I missed him too much... it certainly wasn't
that funny... was it?
Second off: am I the ONLY one that noticed that Benny's breats were HUGE in that first panel!? O.O Not complaing. Fanservice and all but... sheesh, I don't think they've gotten that big ever, not even in the scantilly clad pillow fight panel. Usually the large breasts have been reserved for Pella and Benny has had moderate breastage.
Third off: I swing all ways. Richard is sexy. Pella is sexy. Cale is sexy. Benny is sexy. Even Krunch and Ray'd have their sexy moments *swoons* But I think I have more in common with Richard so, yeah.
Archery is awesome too! I know the bow came out on the ship! But I can't recall anything after that... I think Cale used the swords mostly because he was going through an emo stage... now that Richard has returned he's not quite so emo

I love how Richard is talking to Ray'd while he's freezing somebody and also ready to fwoosh at any time. The duality is amazing.

Cale had his bow before they entered the prison to get the sons. He used it when they were fighting the thieves and stuff when they killed Rojav. Remember him shooting Richard up in the air, to have Richard fall back down all diamond like? Yeah, that's the last time he used his bow, I think. Sort of figured he ditched it/forgot it after the prison break. o.o

I wish my DnD elf could shoot four arrows at a time! She only gets three shots per round... but she's a master archer now which means I can reroll a shot if it would miss... unfortunately if I reroll a critical miss I have to go with that second number *sweatdrop* But still.
I wish I could shoot like Cale.
And good memories for remembering that. Forgive the newb for having read the comic only once and in the span of two days and has yet to make it to that part her second time reading. *bow bow*

1. I am pretty sure this was done on purpose to show fast action/motion... if Benny is turning to run (which I think she is), gravity would briefly keep any free-floating assets a little up and out after she finished moving, giving the appearance of larger than normal breasts.
2. Don't ever complain about larger than normal breasts. Ever. Just say thank you.

You all do realize what will happen if the next comic doesn't follow Pella and Benny, right?
What happens is that on monday, we will be treated to a full page of beautiful carnage by Cale, Ray'd and Richard! A WHOLE page of absolute destruction in ways we probably can't even imagine!
If we follow the girls, we'll just have to wait a bit and instead enjoy one or two pages of cleavage. How can this not be a win/win situation?
