Well you know, there's only so much Lord of the Rings you can cram into that scene. The Disney-esque touch breaks the, er, death grip. And it <b>does</b> progress the plot! We now know Richard really HAS arrived! (Okay we guessed that from Benny pointing to the east, but still...)

Id say there are better things that could be put on a shirt. Like Ray'd showing off his arm, or one of those shirts that have a picture of a well-toned upper-body on them so that, when you wear them, it looks like you have that body (it would be Benny's, of coarse).

lol, its a half/filler. While they coulda shoved more in, atleast it is now 100% confirmed that Richard is back with the group... and has arrived with real Richard Flare.

So it has no plot. So? You see someone holding a cat off a cliff- that is always worth seeing. Richard adds nothing nor takes it away. This is all about Sooba and the Bunneh

So it's a filler, done Lion King style, fair enough. I wouldn't presume to tell SohLar what to do or when they could get off easy, they're still being so kind as to provide us with this insanely awesome, on-going webcomic for free!
Besides, folks like us are never bored. SohLar could easily throw in a stick-figure half-sketch and we'd still enjoy it and try to analyze the hell out of it

With Richard being back, I foresee some great action where Ray'd gets to try out his new arm on a dorf-head or two, we'll (hopefully) find out what happened to Krunch, Richard has probably recharged his batteries so he's now even more brim-filled with Ye Powers of Awesome and it'll be great to see how Kethenecia and the group reacts to Pretty Pretty Unicorn (and see how they've conducted themselves post transplant).

And yes, monday is TOO FRIGGING FAR AWAY, though I can sort of live with it. I've got my music exam at teacher's college on tuesday

Ok, first off, does Richard work out? That's a heavy kitty he's lifting.
Secondly, forgive me if I doubt your conclusions. You see Gid point off to the side and speak about promises, the next comic you see Richard holding a panther over the edge of the cliff.
Where exactly does it say that these two actions aren't forty miles apart? I mean, when has Richard ever needed an excuse to hold living breathing things over cliffs? Even if just to make them pee their fur.
And there have been a few promises made during this war. Sure, Richard's "look to the east" makes the most sense. So by default, its exactly what -isn't- happening.

Now I have placed the seeds of doubt in your minds. Let it grow, let it grow!

Hilarious! Firts of, I thought of an Filler, but after short thinking - it made sense! It all fits together, IMO a masterpiece (as they say "a picture tell more than thousand words"!)

I remember some guy in the thread for page 284 guessed that "Richard comes over the mountain with some Movie Reference" -- good shot, gratulations...

You know what the best thing is? I just finished watching The Lion King about 10 minutes ago, then came and checked the comic. Spooky or what? Awesome comic.

Oh, a vague reference was dropped earlier, but I think most everyone is still reeling in the awesomeness of that page and the hilarity that is the expression on Sooba's face.

With all the talk of wallpaper, I think this page combined with the /facepalm that was posted earlier are headed into photoshop so I can have a new wallpaper...

This page would be a perfect page to expand into a 1920x1080 wallpaper!

I registered just to say that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. From the previous comic I knew today would have Richard in it (naysayers and complainers begone!) and was wondering how it would go. LoTR, as others have said, was one option.

Lion King was something else! Fantastic.

Although I have to worry about the minds that can come up with this stuff.
