Full Version: Foreshadowing Fates

This is my first ever post on the forums, but I have been a long time reader and fan of Looking for Group.

I am going to keep it short and sweet, as it is just a little something I have noticed that might involve the later fates of characters. I am pretty sure it has never been mentioned before either. On the very first page of the comic, Richard murders a rabbit which leads to a dispute between Cale and Richard. I believe this may show that Richard will end up taking the life of the Archmage as the story advances, and may lead to a possible dispute between two of the main characters and possibly something to do with Richard's father.

That's it......yeah......

I'm sorry i disagree.
Although this recent comic does seem to have richard appearing to hold the bunny hostage, he pledges to help with his army though...

I'm not sure why, but the bunny who was first fwooshed, and the archmage bunny seem connected but are not

So you have me at a slight- Possible... but would need further explaning as to why you think so

It has me thinking though...

I am honestly holding back every inch of me and trying to be as nice as possible when I say that you seem to have misunderstood what I have said, or possibly are not aware of how some forms of foreshadowing are able to be presented. I am more so referring to the death of the first rabbit and choice of words presented on the first page might be acting as a further indication of how the storyline will unfold seeing as how the Archmage primarily is presented in the form of a rabbit. The increased interaction between the Archmage and Richard also seen to show a greater chance of this occuring.

Theres no need to be nice
I understand how foreshadowing works
However...

The theories you have presented from using this method seem to be on the unlikely side

Sorry mate ^.^

Good to hear ya understand. Your first post left me a little confused as to if you understood what I meant tongue.gif

I probably am just over analyzing a webcomic, but I can only hope that I caught this early =)

And your point is? laugh.gif laugh.gif

Maybe the bunny Richard killed in the beginning was the Archmage. XD
I like your idea. It's not something I would have ever noticed.
And I'm glad there are others on this forum that can keep open minds. dry.gif

It is possible, i never said it wasn't, I just think it is unlikely is all.

I think this is a really interesting idea. I certainly believe the fact that Richard mentioning his father in the first page is symbolic. I am of the belief that this is to represent the first time he gets flashbacks of his past which he mentions at the end of the trial of demons in the plane of suck...

Though the bunny foreshadowing the archmage's death would also be interesting... it is possible that some fight between Cale and Richard must happen. After all they are extreme opposites. the Archmage's death/murder (by Richard's hand or fault or doing or whatever) may be the catalyst for such an event.

Nice idea. Sorry if I didn't truely get what you were saying but this is what I got out of you pointing out the stuff
