I apologize for my quietitude this week (if that’s not a word, it ought to be), but the bulk of my time has been spent prepping for Book Expo America, which takes place this weekend in New York City.

Seeing as it’s a trade show as opposed to a convention, we don’t have a booth but instead will be in meetings for the duration. Granted, not as much fun as meeting readers, though getting the opportunity to converse with other publishers, retailers and distributors is an opportunity I couldn’t miss.

It also doesn’t hurt that I’ll get to pick up plenty of books while out there, and meet a few new budding writers.

Not a horrible way to spend a weekend.

Sounds like fun-in an exhausting business trippy kind of way. (Does that make sense to anyone else? I mean, it sounds like a lot of work, but fun work. Not like washing dishes or digging ditches.) Have a great time, and a safe journey.
