That package she's carrying could also be another dwarf. Or Rayd's arm, taken to another weird shaman and regenerated so it can be reattached.

Yay second post! Never been that quick on the draw before. (or not, someone got the drop on me after all)
Glad to see I was right that it was Rayd (sp?) in the cave, but sorry too. Wanted it to be Krunch.

I must comment on one panel, the flashback. The use of white outline instead of black on Rayd was a nice visual, very eyecatching and shows the idea of a flashback better. Gives it a more dream-like quality. Bravo, gentlemen. As usual, not only is the artwork and story up to standard, but you go an extra mile with little touches that really show off your talent a bit more. All the accolades you receive are WELL DESERVED.
Now, one more comic regarding the hunt for Krunch and then back to Pretty Pretty Unicorn, please. I must see more carnage and learn more about Richard's mysterious home.

No, she's referred to Krunch as her father
before, and called Ray'd "Uncle" several times. This is the first time we've heard Benny refer to the Chief as her grandfather, but it kind of went without saying.
I'm in love with panel 6. Benny crying + Ray'd being gentle = me trying not to cry. Great update.

I think Gid is thanking him for going to Mechastone to see if Krunch is there and still alive, but it may be a general "Thanks for your support" kind of thing.

Yes, and also if Krunch is anywhere, he is in Mechastone.

First off, first post EVAR! Squee!
Second off, I'm pretty sure Benny was thanking Cale for going to Mechastone instead of following the legion to the Sister's temple, as well as being supportive overall. And what the heck does Pella have wrapped up? I'm half hoping for a giant drill arm procured during her "family business". Giant drill ams are sorely underepresented.
Edit: Bazooka is good too, but that's more goblin territory than gnome/dwarf.

Its because if Krunch is anywhere and still alive, he is in Mechastone, so she is thanking him for going there, instead of going after Richard/ or something else such as defend the sisters.

Actually, I think what Pella has isn't an arm itself, but iron to make an arm Army of Darkness style, possibly better. The iron most likely comes from the dead dwarves (most of it from the fat chick).

Anyway, pretty good page here; I love the white lining on Ray'd (not to mention the artwork there in general; very nice), among other things. Y'all do tears pretty well (even back when they first discovered that they had been too late, they were done quite nicely...especially the red eye effect on Cale =D).
I don't even mind the fact we totally just switched groups here. XD In fact, that was done pretty nicely as well ... leaves the rest up to one's imagination... -shrugs- the semi-slow pace is nice here. It's like a dramatic song. The climax is hardly here yet; no, we're just at the buildup (for the next hill? for the climax itself? =O)... yay~!
...but yeah. My rambling aside... -thumbs up-

The only reason they wanted the sword was to give it to Aellon since someone *looks a Cale* didn't want to do it the easy way and just kill him. But now with the whole invasion thing they propably have to kill him eventually.
I almost went "NOOOOOO" when I saw we had gone back to the rest of the group. But I guess we wont see more of Richard before Legara goes to battle the sisters and he'll make some kind of Gandald entering.

from the way its bending i say its metal and stone battle arm
family business might mean that she made a new arm for ray'd if you look at how she touching the arm and how its almost the same size as ray'd's, she might be a little magic when she works with the forge...., we don't know that much on her talents.
so family business might be that an d she will get Benny to attach that to him as to say graph it to hm wither her healing if she can do that then i think we are going to see a very pleased rayd

The original plan was to
track the Legion. After interrogating a member of said Legion, it was discovered that the rest of the army is heading towards
"the citadel after the sisters". So that's where Cale and company were going to go next.
Now there's been a change of plans, and the group will be going to Mechastone to look for Krunch. Hence Benny's gratitude.
