I <3 My wii, it's a bit under used right now because of a distinct lack of games that have... lasting life?

and Raven: See that's just it, what is a crap game to you and your friends. Could be a favorite game to other people, if it doesn't have games you like then don't get it. However the PS3 has a lot more games that I love and enjoy than the 360 does. Like I said before, I don't enjoy Halo, I don't enjoy Gears. They're ok games, but for ME they are far from console sellers.

and Nilly: me too but seriously, waay too many of them. We skipped out on buying the 3rd one.

Played through & beat Uncharted 2, or at least I did on my friends account as I took the game up, turns out he already had it & he decided I could finish his date, seeing as it wasn't his kind of thing (rented for a week.)

I find myself... let down by the ending, but other than that I found the game to be stunning. Everything has improved, and I do hope Naughtry Dog make an Uncharted 3 (to which I joked; Uncharted 3; Draks Misfortunes - Chloe Returns!) It's a lame title, but it's a work & progress.

Now to eagerly await Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 & maybe Dragon Age; Origins before the year is out, then await whatever 2010 may bring us gamers.

Next saturday i will go along the wii section and list off the games here... You will see a total of no more then 10 decently rated games.

The fact that I work at a video game store and therefor know a little more then the average Joe about video games is not an unfounded statement.

The wii is going down hill, as you will see with the system sales this year. The wii does have some fun games but that does not make it a good system, I would not go as far as calling it a virtual boy, because at least nintendo made more then 12 games for the wii.

All systems have some shitty games for them, but right now the wii is pumping the shit out faster then anyone else.

If you do not believe me, you will come this saturday. Smash bros was great, Mario kart was fun, twilight princess and super mario galaxy were both great. Wii fit was even fun for a few hours. Wii sports was great, wii sports resort is a little weak. Boom blocks = fun. Little Kings story can be addictive.

I wont say the wii is 100% garbage, it does have some genuinely good games. But it is still a system built to target non gamers. Thus gamers will get the least enjoyment out of that system.

Sir, calling an avid gamer an "average joe" is insulting. I practically live in gamestop. My cousin and I discuss the benefits of one metroid game over another, whether Sam Fisher would win in a fight with Snake (he would), and other such gamey things.

Also, I have the advantage of having owned a Wii. Therefore, despite your judgements, I will remain convinced that you sir know better than me whether buying a Wii is worth it.

Yeah, there are some crappy games, but most of the games that you label as crap are actually rather good I'm sure, they simply don't appeal to your gaming style. I'm willing to play practically any game so long as I find it enjoyable, which is what sets me apart from you I suppose, and why I found the Wii to be thoroughly enjoyable.

I'd like to point out that the only reason I sold my Wii is because I couldn't justify owning two video game systems when 1 of them was obviously used far less. I played on my Wii quite frequently, just not enough to justify owning both that and a 360.

And no I am not going on just my personal preferences of games on whether it is terrible or not. In fact i know i enjoy alot of pretty bad games, I am also going by reviews and just plain common sense. Like i said, wait until saturday for my list of wii games, I gaurantee you will not be able to name as many crappy games on any other system.

I am a video gamer, I have been one longer then most. Maybe just because im older then you. I have collected and played almost every system over the years. Whether it is the atari jaguar, turbo grafx, sega 32x, 3d0, virtual boy, or a saturn. I even have the top loading nintendo from japan.

I do not consider my opinion as a be all and end all of game ratings. I like what i like nothing more and nothing less. I dislike metroid, but i agree that it is a great game. I enjoy Dynasty warriors six, yet i can understand why people consider it just dynasty warriors 3 part 4. I do not enjoy syphon filter but i love metal gear.

I know just because i do not enjoy a game does not make the game bad. But i can assure you without a shadow of a doubt that the wii has alot more crappy games then the 360 or ps3. It is not that it does not have any good ones. It has some freaking great ones, although i enjoyed twilight princess more on the GC, it is the amount of crappy games that they are just spewing out, Do you know how many "imagine" games i put out a month? Name any game that was out for multiple platforms that was best on the wii?

P.S I own a wii. I enjoy playing smash bros on it. I am currently playing little kings story when im not playing demon souls.

I wouldn't say it's shitty... Though I do concur that all of the bloody shovelware has made me neglect my Wii for the past year or so. I don't think that the Wii bad per se, as the Nintendo games are well produced, as well some 3rd parties as well. However, if you take the average Wii game it will be shit for sure. What a paradox.

i just got a new 360 after what feels like years of waiting and I'm super psyched for some of the recent release and up coming ones, I'm definitely getting AvP and might get Bioshock second hand or on demand seeing as the second one is out now but I'm wondering what else to get. Battlefield BC2 is coming soon and I've been having fun on the demo so far, New Vegas sounds so awesome but I'm not sure on a release date and i need some more info on FFXIII before i make a decision on that.

I'm enjoying the multiplayer so far, i'm actually doing well, which is rare for me.

But i never played the first one beyond the demo so i can't say, if your interest then download the new demo.

Edit/ seeing as my main worry with FF was how complicated the battle system looked that article has cleared it up alot, i think i just might be getting that, also i'm pissed that a FF7 remake is coming out and it's PS3 exclusive.

Played a game called Blood Bowl recently hoping it would be like mutant league football... I was very disappointed. It is a decent game, But anything with that much luck driving a game is a no no for me... Rolling a dice to see if you Giant troll can tackle a little elf.... And losing???? Just seems lame.
Dantes Inferno is actually not bad... Attempt at a dark story line reminds me of the movie Gladiator.

Ness, There is as much skill as luck in that game(Blood Bowl). I play it in two different leagues When it comes to two equal skill players, it'll come down to luck(Actually, as much as I say that. It also comes down to who makes bigger mistakes.) It's a game of risk management. You have to identify what needs to get done and do it with the minimum number of risks.

Well i must say im bad at the darn thing... I lose no matter what... Every time i try to set up a blocker... with 2 supporting him... I almost always get the options... Attacker down or Both down... as you know either ends your turn...

Finish Bioshock 2, but make sure you play nice.

Play very, very nice with everybody on there, SC.
