I was just reading LFG today, when an advertisenment appeared. It was for a card game (playable in 3D as well) which after a try I quite liked.
Unfortunately I wasn't on my PC, so no history.
And now, I wanted to get back to it, but as it has a long url I wasn't able to remember it..
And now it doesn't appear here anymore! sad.gif
If anyone would be that much kind to provide me with the link, I'd really appreaciate... sad.gif
Thanks very much for any help... smile.gif

Sorry, but I don't think I know of anything like that. Do you know what the name was?

If I'd known the name, I could just put into google.. but my mind just can't hold such a information for a whole, especially as I was there just like 10-15 mins..

Didn't seem like a particularly delicate problem. <.<

Actually, this thread kinda made me think of a type of forum ninja-spam I've heard of... ^^;

did you seriously keep refreshing the page till u found it?
anywho after what i presume u keep playing hte game, would u still recommend it?

This is seeming even more like that ninja-spam thing... Doesn't fit perfect, but seems similar...

The way I heard of, two accounts are made (generally by bots), one requesting a link to a site or information or something, and the other providing the helpful answer... Thus, it's harder to detect, since it just looks like a quick help thing...

If he was a bot he wouldn't have been able to answer (unless it was a very advanced one, in which case I don't think it would be being used to advertise card games tongue.gif) when I asked if he knew the name. It wouldn't be a very efficient way of advertising anyway. If Urazor really did work for that website then a much better way of advertising would just be to ask people what they thought of the game and post a link. I'm sure things like this do happen with bots, but I think we should at least give him the benefit of the doubt.

I am, it's more the lack of further response from the person that's making me really think that might have been it (along with the fact that the person doesn't seem to have posted anything else at all, before or since)... And I'm rather doubting it was actually a bot, anyway, too. And actually, when advertising posts are made, oftentimes anyone gotten from the place it's posted is just bonus. Remember those WOW gold posts, with the little stories? The stories really were to try hiding the links. Those weren't posted to bring people from here, they were posted to boost Google ratings by having more links in different places. Of course, it's not too hard to make those attempts a moot point, but they won't stop attempts...

Meh. It's not really hurting anything even if that's what it is... just kinda felt like mentioning it. ^^;

And this topic became useless the moment he found it. So I'll just close this before things escalates.
