Feh, they were separated with stalls. It wasn't like I had anything to be prudish about. I'm just not used to showering in public places; I felt open, and it was awkward and uncomfortable. I'm a naturally private person and showers are my time to relax...in private. Alone. Preferably in darkness. Taking a shower is the only time I can actually just, you know, relax. Plus, it was in a new place that I didn't entirely know, so I was paranoid to boot. It wasn't a matter of showering with other people (and yes, it does conserve water; so does doing your, ah, business beforehand -wink-) so much as showering in the open in a new place...with cold water. Whether or not there were other naked and wet people there didn't really matter, though it might have given me a pleasant distraction... humm.

I was hunched over him, holding him and rubbing kitty shampoo into his fur. :/ My wrists, elbows, knees, throat and likely stomach would have been in easy access if he spent minimal effort to twist around a bit.

Hmm, our cats are way too lazy to actually attack. Admittedly one does jump on my desk & sit in-front of my monister, then tries to scrag me when I push her out the way, dives off, sprints downstairs, then comes back up & does the same routine within 45 seconds, frightening.
The other cat... just lazy in general.

You realize that by saying such things you look as rude and intolerant as they do? I was raised in a Catholic household, went to Catholic school for 8 years, and still go to sunday mass with my parents (not by choice mind you). I may not agree with all of it and I may think they go overboard, but I still have my own personal beliefs that tell me to just let that shit go.
