While reading my way back through the comic, I found someting that was somewhat interesting:

I think that the survivors from Galmon may well be the Sisters and the Brothers. They look distinctly elven, and enough time has passed that due to whatever reason they could have changed enough to look the way they do now.

Yeah, I wondered about that myself. Personally, I assumed that Cale must be a descendant of the Gamlon survivors because both Tavor and the King identified him as one of their own. Cale doesn't look like Vulii, nor does he look like whatever Vraay is. =P

I doubt it, i mean what could POSSIBLY cause a species to turn BLUE?

The cold? He should spend more time in the North, maybe he'll become a Drow.

I think this is where Cale's name kind of sheds a little light on the situation: his name is Cale 'Anon.' I'm sure that's a play on the fact that we don't know exactly where he came from. If he's not specifically from Gamlon, I'm sure he's of a race closely related to the people from there.

But I don't really see where you got it....
