I'll say it again. Their history is a Father/Daughter relationship. In an adoption situation, it can go into a deeper relationship. After all, look at Woody Allen and Sun Yi (or whatever her name is). However, most people whom I've heard their opinion on the matter say it leaves a bit of a bad taste in their mouth to think about it.

I mean, think about it from the father's (Krunch) point of view. Could you ever consider being in a physical relationship with someone whom you have memories of changing their diaper? So forgive me if I don't have an especially open mind on that matter, since this is where my mind goes when I let it out.

I'm just glad there's some semblence of a relationship in the comic. Love is a natural emotion, there's no reason to exclude it. I just pray they keep the number of possible pairings low. Like right now, the only possible pairing I see is Cale/Benny (some may not agree, and I'm not saying there IS feelings between the two, it just seems like a possability).
Because we all now what happens when you have too many pairings. That's right, shipping wars happen.

I'll use the Zelda series as an example. Not to sound like I'm making fun of it, I love the series to death. I still shudder when I remember my days on Fanfiction.net, a person can get flamed like a Thanksgiving turkey just for posting a pairing fic, and I'm more than a little ashamed to admit that I took part in it (I was a Link/Zelda shipper, you see, and I still am, kinda). The problem is that there's so many possible pairings, and more pairings means more fanboys/fangirls. The "Big Three" are Link/Zelda, Link/Malon, and Link/Midna. But there's also some Link/Ruto, Zelda/Vaati, Zelda/Ganondorf (blech), Link/Dark Link (it happens more often than you think), Link/Saria, Link/Hena, and I've even seen a Link/Master Sword once.

Let's just hope it doesn't come to that. The last thing LFG needs is a pairing war.

Y'know, I like Legend of Zelda, and I've had some fun playing through the games. I can even see some of the pairings happening, given the ambiguity of a silent protaganist. But the more I've played it, the more something bothers me.

Kinda like how the story of Rumpunsel is about that maiden in the tower who does nothing, not about the valient knight who saves her... same with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Most things that have a 'damsel in distress' feature the name of the damsel.
