Although the bunny doesn't appear until after this point...he can be considered Richard's familiar (if we discount Hctib. And we can. )

Could TIM be the interdimensional monsterthing??

I bet next page will have Richard confronting the Archmage and saying. "I knew it was you all along. Why else do you think I let a cute little woodland critter live?"

Looking at the archmage in panel 8 of that page, he kinda looks like a bunny. Huh.

Also...we've thought that the Sisters worship the Bunny...could they actually just worship the archmage...and is there a possibility that the archmage is a god of some type in actuality?

I wouldn't say it opens up a lot of plot-holes because they could be explained away.

1) Archmage/Felbunny was acting the loyal-companion part to keep from arousing suspicion--or actively causing it.
2) Archmage/Felbunny was the loyal-companion due to some unforeseen history stemming from/surrounding Richard.

And nobody seems to be curious that these turn of events were not supposed to happen? So somewhere along the way, someone sabotaged something and slowed them down. Now, remind me who was sent to scout out and speed the process up?

Maybe Felbunny is some sort of convenient magical camera. The Archmage can see and hear through the Felbunny to keep tabs on the group (which really explains how he's been doing it that time. I like that it's not just "lolmagic", but has a solid anchor for it) and then can come out of... wherever the fsck he is and possess it if he needs to. The rest of the time, Felbunny would just be a bunny. Albeit a fel one.

Now that I've got that out of the way:

So we finally see the bunny's worth. I'm guessing the Archmage was the master the matron was talking about.

I now anxiously await what will happen next.

Woah! Unexpected plot twist (but that's been said a few times now )

One other possibility is that the Archmage is only "channeled" through the bunny at the moment (because he is rather upset, to put it that way) and needs to take matters into his own hands. The rest of the time he was probably only watching the group (through Felbunny's eyes?).

However, if Felbunny IS the Archmage, does the last panel of this page confirm the long-discussed connection between Richard and the Archmage?

Pretzel? You're lucky! I'm more of a Gordian Knot at the moment. But that's mostly just me over-thinking the development (because I love to do that) and trying to do dynamics homework at the same time, while contemplating other major things.

While you're over there being twisted, I'm still fuming about "Felbunny."
Though this does explain his long absences throughout the comic. Damn Archmage thinks too far ahead. >:(

I do hope Richard confronts the Archmage about this, and we get a little bit of info on who Archmage really is to Richard. We deserve that much after this.

I'm going to keep calling him Felbunny until this is better explained in further issues. Mainly because I don't find the arch mage cuddly.

I called it first. Even named the image "archbunny".

Just three observations:

1. Where is Richard?
2. Where are the Ewoks?
3. Why do the logs in the front fire look like small bones?

Wait! Why would the archmage/Felbunny hop away off into the distance just to say out loud that it shouldn't be happening this way?

Combine with the lack of Richard's presence...perhaps they were in it together all along and are having a planned meeting outside of the camp....just speculation to add to the fire.

Meh, I just thought of what came to my mind when I saw that. Consider it "Convergent Stroke of Genius". Arch-Bunny reads better though, imo.
