Around this time tomorrow, I will be in the Blind Ferret Van along with Randy and Nick, on our way to New York City, where we’ll be met by Lar and Jeff, to attend our first con of the year, the appropriately named New York City Comic Con.

All of us will be at Booth #1634 for the duration of the show, and will be delighted to talk shop, comics, books, pop culture or whatever else you’re in the mood to chat about. We’ll of course have plenty of merchandise on hand, of which we can sign (I use the term loosely for my signature) should you wish it.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

"Loosely" is an understatement, Sohmer. Last year, you used what could only be referred to as a squiggle to sign my copy of LFG Vol 1. tongue.gif But, it was still cool meeting you. Going to try and get there again this year!

See you here!

I'm working on being there. *crosses fingers* I'll be the over excited teenager with crazy brown hair. Can't wait to meet you guys!

EDIT: It seems that I can't go. I'm the only one without a stomach virus in my entire house, so no one to drive me. Hope you enjoy yourselves and heres hoping for next year!

I feel like I should go just so I can come up to you and say "I've come all the way from Montreal to see you!"

Ok, so I'm new here. I've been reading for about 5 minths now and always enjoy the laughs. It's especially fun to see the humor, spawned from other minds, that seems to be my own. As far as NYC goes, take care guys and I can't wait to see you at my local Dragon*Con.

p.s. I'm on Terenas for those who play.

I'll be bugging you guys more tomorrow! What does Lar like? I know you love your RedBull but I'd like to give a offering to him as well ^^ I also hope that me helping your friend make a line at Dark Horse helped him in his popularity ;D

Have fun, everyone smile.gif

Is there any chance of you visiting the UK at any point? Because if you do, I'll definitely be there biggrin.gif *hyperfangirl look* XD I just can't make it to the US.. I -tried- to in August.. but my parents are just evil gits who remind me a bit of Richard without the thwooshing..

Heya!

I stopped by your booth at the Con yesterday (Friday) with a few friends for a little while. I was dressed up as Harley Quinn (see: avatar), though I missed Sohmer because he was taking a break, and then I was at the female villain contest when he came back. Meanwhile, my friends dropped off two cases of Red Bull, which I'm sure were much appreciated.

When I walked by again, I still didn't see Sohmer, but I got a wave out've Lar at least!
I'm not sure if I'll be back again, though, as I can't get to/navigate NYC for beans without someone helping me, and I think my group isn't heading back again. Ah well, there's always next year to meet ya, Sohmer. biggrin.gif

Hope you guys have fun for the remainder of the Con!

Well that was a fantastic weekend. I got to meet the dynamic duo themselves yesterday at our good ole' fashion Comic Con. And while, yes I now have a signed copy of the LFG series, even more amazingly I have Lar's dental imprint on my forearm! I'm not too worried about infection (Canadians seem to have much better health care then the US health system these days), and the thrill of the lifelong memory and scar is just to exciting to let concerns of a rare canadian bacteria to which I have no resistance to as a poor New York living capitalist worry me. Completely understandable however, getting food on the comic floor was a feat in itself, and with the recession and the gouging New York prices, you gotta eat when you can! Photo's soon to follow, but it was loads of fun.

Thanks for getting me out to the convention (I've never been to one before, but it won't be my last). Hope you had a safe trip getting out of the city, Airports around here can be fairly brutal to Canadians <.<
