I do so love the framing on this page. I also love that the first four panels are all serious and tragic, and the last panel... it doesn't fit at all, and thus is hilarious.

Also, because of the way Cale accents you, it sounds like Felbunny ratted out Richard.

i love how you made this panel, it shows the how intense the comic is getting.. and the splinter look of the panels is actually the shield on how its breaking remember there behind it and to us we are seeing thru the shield i.e the story for this page.

And I can't quite figure out the function of the weapons that Chief Bloodrage is wielding. They don't look like clubs..

They're maces. We've seem him with them before.

Sure, but it would make more sense if the last panel wasn't like that as well. Cale and Richard (and co.) haven't made it to the Bloodrage city yet, so they shouldn't be behind the barrier.

What is the bloodrage that says "we're being pushed back." holding? It looks a gold handle with two bonsai pinetrees on top It must have one hell of an enchanment though, judging by the look on the face of the soldier he just struck

Also, aren't maces supposed to have longer handles? The bloodrage chiefs mace heads are barely above his fists, which would mean that with every hit the maces make there's a big chance of his fist hitting as well. When fighting armored foes his hands would be bleeding stumps after a dozen kills or so.

Prediction for monday: the brothers are coming charging over the hill like Gandalf and the horse people in LOTR battle for Helms deep only the light isn't the light of dawn but of a flaming Richard

Also it's interesting that all the sons are blue but not all the sisters are, infact most sisters appear to not be blue.

I blew up the book from today's comic, it doesn't look familiar to me though. It's probably something Sohmer has read lately or something. He tends to do that a lot with Rayne in LICD.

Now that you zoomed it in, i think i can see richard on the top left corner: the helm, his face, his upper armor (covered with blood), his arm and bracelet... actually i would be surprised if he'd read anything else but about himself...

It is pretty obscured by being so small and I didn't bother to properly warp the image to the shape but yep, I referenced a Deadpool comic for Richard. I thought he'd enjoy that since both Sohmer and I enjoy Deadpool as well.

I would be nice if Richard, exactly as Deadpool, would know he is a comic character. That'd be epic fun.

I might agree that the paneling in the battle is a mysterious 3rd party watching from some sort of crystal ball. That would explain why the last panel also has the glassiness. If so, perhaps the next comic shall be the entrance of that 3rd party?

I think its just the positioning of the ear. Here you can see their ears are clearly human. Unless the sisters are a mix of humans and elves.

I think someone already mentioned it, but it seems as if the paneling effect is from someone watching them. The arch-mage, perhaps? Maybe the dragons. :3

The "Master" of the Sister's is a bunny. Cale is now holding the bunny. Cale is also returning the sons. "The Master will return the sons." O.o

Hey Ya'll been awhile since I actually commented on anything but Yeah glad to be back. But enought with the pelasantries, to business...

I have been folowong the comic for going on two years now and I must say that it has never failed to dissapoint, This lastest story arc is headed in a direction that seems like it will provide some very siginificant answers to questions that, Fans just like us, have positited to the Most Noble Comic Creators before. The foremost im my mind migth be little old and of center but I like the possibilities that they have,

The connection that Richard now has to the sisters may give us clues to his past and the previusly mentioned reformation while he was trapped in that alternate plane of existance.

the connection that Capt. Vraay has to the sisters is an interesting thing to note as well.

Lastly one very astute poster mentioned Benny and Pella, I think that it is a point of interest that they are no longer with Cale and Richard, so then I agree in wanting to know where they are. An interesting thing to note there and maybe the two points could be related, is that Pella is of the ancient clan of dwarves that now serve Legara, so that might have some bearing on where she is and what might happen in the battle.

As always I seek to inspire debate and the free sharing of Ideas. So, with these conversations starting ideas layed out for all to bear witness to if they so wish, I say "have at it"

So if the Bunny-Master theory is correct, I can't wait to see a panel of the sisters prostrating themselves before the holy glory of the Felbunny, possibly with offerings and lots of reverence.


Of course, Richard will be holding the bunny at the time, and believe he's the one being worshiped.


Until, of course, someone snatches Felbunny away from him and carries him off in a parade of glory.
