I had a question and wasn't sure where to post this

Some guy at work came in this morning with this book:

Not only was I surprised that the author didn't choose actual characters from WoW to illustrate his book, but I didn't find any mention of Blind Ferret, or Lar de Souza, or anything that would refer as "I give credit for the use of this image to" ect. in the first pages

So I have 2 questions

First, did you know that your characters were use in the production of this book?

Second, if so, did you draw them specifically for the book, or did the guy just photoshopped his way in the making of the image?

Yus, Lar drew that specifically for that book, around when LFG was newish and more WoW-centric. If'n I remember correctly, his name and BFE aren't mentioned because he didn't really want to be associated with it.


Or maybe I'm thinking of the WoW character account service ad starring Richard....

Yeah, I noticed that book on the Search results at Borders before it was even published. I thought the same thing and posted a thread about it. No worries. It's legit.
