where would the story have gone?

For example: if the readers contributed to the brainstorming of the next issue, would the good guys win and the heroes of LFG be defeated, or would the party we've come to know (And in the case of Richard especially) and love be triumphant over insurmountable odds (that looks like a s***load of dragons to me...) ??

Post what you'd suggest. We may influence the writers to go our way instead of what they originally had planned. Or even better... an offshoot of the comic where we can choose which story to follow.

Interactive comics, anyone?

If it were up to the readers of LFG, the story would be significantly less awesome than it is now. Notwithstanding, the reader's various levels of skill writing.

Hmm, I'm personally quite happy with the direction the comic's going in now, and honestly, Sohmer and Lar are just bloody brilliant as is, so no matter what happens it'll be great! Admittedly, might be interesting to see them do a spin off comic based on Sohmer's dream though. XD

I'm still new to these forums, but after taking a look around, here's my prediction for what volume three would be like if the readers had full control.

1 - Issue IX would be nothing but Richard slaughtering people and delivering amusing one liners, both relevant and out of nowhere. The other heroes would occasionally join him, with Pella leading them in chorus.

2 - Issue X, we'll see Cale have several romantic relationships. One with Pella, who he'll leave for Benny, who he'll leave for Tavor, who he'll leave for Sooba, who he'll leave for Richard. Sooba, upset over the break up, with maul Cale while Richard laughs.

3 - Issue XI will have the northern alliance march for Legara. New races will be created and the dragons will return, along with other amazing creatures to destroy things. Pella, Benny and some of the younger sisters will lose their clothes in the process and not bother to retrieve them.

4 - Finally, in Issue XII the north will smash Legara. Krunch will become king in the north while Cale becomes king of Legara.


But of course, that's just my thoughts

We can't influence the writers and it's better that way. I want to be surprised by the next comic, not just say "Ah, that's what somebody1963 suggested!".

Plus, Lar and Sohmer are better artists than us, the readers, or at least the majority of us, so compared to theirs, our ideas in majority would be best placed in the realm of suck.

I do believe you mean the "Plane of Suck."

I trust Sohmer and Lar to take this in the right direction. :3 I just hope they mention more about Richard's past. That tidbit from the trial still bugs me. ;.;

Don't forget the page where Richard and the Phares stop the flood.

Oh yes, Richard's 'deep' moment. Still, 'tis enough to give hope that perhaps there will be an arc in the future explaining Richard's past. Perhaps a flashback to his living days?

There is a sad chance that I foresee in the end that Richard may give up his power and undeadness for the greater good...and revert to his old human form...However if that were to happen he should keep his love for killing

We're supposed to get the story on Richard's past in the movie, so I doubt they'll be putting anything in the comic anytime soon. It would spoil the surprise before the movie is released, and be redundant afterwards.
