its not supposed to be a battle song. they're winging it as they fight, yes, but to an entirely different purpose. Cale is floating out in the nethers where physical matter seems to slip outside of reality. they need to find him before they can do much else.

Simply superb, even if we saw part of it coming. It was executed so well that that did not matter.

I just noticed something.... all the mages, when they do their little eye beam superman thingy, it seems to have the same effect on the gaurds as when Richard beams them, except with his hands. Not sure it's relevent, but it could mean that he was once a blue elf mage dude as well. After all, Ashendale is pretty much as close to elvish as you can get. But that's just me.

The song is Lean on Me, it is relevant because they must all band together to help each other both here and against legara. There is most definitely no way to view without the lyrics. Pella was singing because it is/was her duty to go help Cale because he requires "Somebody to lean on"

On the bottom of the page it seem like pella's guns have all dissapeared. But it is not the first time we see weapons dissapear and come back when needed.

And him waking up with that last line Call Me, I am probly totally off on this but its a shot....the brothers are mages right?, i am thinking they could bring him to the group when the time is right via summoning spell maybe?

Huge fan of this comic but today's page seemed rather disappointing . Especially since it felt like carrying on from last week with "Lean on Me" all over the comic. Guess I am becoming too old

You know, I only really noticed this in a motivator, but I gotta wonder...what's the point of Pella's faceplate? I mean, not so much the 'point' as in 'purpose', because gods forbid our hottest character gets her money maker mussed up. [/sarcasm] I mean the aesthetic purpose.
