And how will Pella react when she finds out that Richard left Cale floating into the nether-blob? She and Richard may have made up and become pals again after the incident with the shaman, but her first priority is Cale's safety, after all.

anyhoo i have to agree that Pella looks AWESOME I love how she's dual-wielding crossbows like pistols (kinda hope it's a permanent upgrade). I think that Richard is still in golem form and is either pleading with the brothers to do what he tells them or Benny is singing badly.

Soooo....what does 'Lean On Me' have to do with the current situation? I mean, sure, she's supposed to be 'helping out' Cale by raiding the castle, but still....seems kind of...out of place.

When she first appeared she was singing a Queen song about the cold war ending in the world nuking itself to death and everything we've worked for vaporized in moments. The little similarities are really what are supposed to catch.

Also I also see the mysterious items she obviously was crafting in the last panel of the last comic were Powergloves for herself.

The song is about being there for a friend who needs you.

Although if you leant on Pella right now I suspect you'd lose various body parts.

There's several renditions of it on Youtube, but this just seems like that strangest example.

Lean on Me is the name of the song, and wow yeah Pella is kicking some butt and leaving body parts as she goes , so I think Richard is either a little pissed or at least slightly amused and wanting in on some of the fun. This also could end up being another "Can we keep her" moment.

Sigh okay okay you got me. I hated Pella in the first pages, especially her look that broke the 4th wall more than once... for a long time that hate grew, but then slowly (very slowly) it got better, and this page is the final sandcorn (or well lets call it a rock...or a small mountain) that made me reconsider. So I grudgingly admit she is cool.

Again... There is no overkill. These rabid music fans have become pretty dangerous nowadays, huh? (May i borrow that suit for the next pogo, pleaaaaase? )

I totally see the situation:
Richard coming from the other side in the rock golem body. He stops, stares at Pella, then at the massacre, then again at Pella, then at his own body, then again at Pella. * Sniff O.O, * ...

What if something went wrong with the Richard Smash and the gem fell off and is now near to where Pella is slaughtering?

Now look again at that main panel, and imagine Pella is on fire at the same time.

I've always got the feeling that Pella is War Bard. So long as you're doing a Dance of Death, you might as well have some kick ass accompaniment. Personally I would have thought that particular tune just a bit to slow for proper carnage, but you could always Step it up a notch or two.

When i bother with a Modern Rock War Bard, I tend to prefer Black Hole Sun.

Wow. I guess Pella can sort of Battle Trance by listening to music and singing? That's nice. Imagine what she could do listening to Dragonforce.

i called it. was a dragon crossbow its actually and she is in not so typical battle maiden armor and she seems to be along the lines of battle maiden and the music that she playing to is her tempo while she fights. please keep her like this
