First off I'm sorry for the reference to WoW but I thought this was a hilarious idea.Something happens that makes Richard get hurt(what could hurt him I'm not sure but just roll with it)and has to heal himself somehow so umm he eats a gnomes' corpse(like canibalize in WoW)while the rest of the party watches in horror then Benny says"I could have just healed you".the thought of this makes me laugh.Maybe I'm just a sick person...

Also, about the joke.... Well, those things are funnier in images, as we can see the expressions of the characters and all. Maybe your idea is great when you imagine it but just reading it in plain text like that is not making it very prone to funneh.
