Richard Figurine

Just in time for last minute Christmas shopping, we got another order of 1,000 Richard figurines in this week. They are series 2 and are shipping out immediately. Should you order today, and choose a decent shipping method, there’s more than a good chance that you’ll receive it before the holidays.



As always, once they’re all sold, we’ll remove them from the store.

Paper Richard

Apparently, Lar had some free time this week (which I will work harder to eliminate in the future) and decided to put together a Holiday present for you, that only requires a few minutes of labor and a color printer.



To have a paper Richard of your very own, simply download the following PDF file, print it out and follow the instructions.



I expect to see pictures, and I may decide to reward those with the best Paper Richard Scenarios with some free LFG Merch.

You can find details on assembly at cubeecraft dot com. But it's pretty simple - cut out, fold, tuck tabs into slots, and voila. Don't even need glue.

Gaah! Should have read the forums before trying to get the fiddly tabs to stay in place with glue...however:

Hey all,

I don't like saying this... but I will: I am a bit dissapointed cause the figurine is the "old" Richard one... Since you didn't say in you previous post which it would be I was kinda hoping for a new one (Cale and/or Sooba).

Any chance for this in the (near) future? I would really love to have all of the LFG characters on my desk! (would also love to have all of the LICD characters on my desk too! )

Managed to find one of our (hyperactive ) cats in a quieter moment and siezed the opportunity to make a Richard and Sooba pic:

This moment is definitely one of the big moments a post is required. Mr. Sohmer, sir, if you give Mr. Lar more work, we will not get the rest of the paper characters to make even better pictures for your entertainment! And technically, Mr. Lar would have more work making the others into paper cutouts. Am I pushing it too far for a first post?

Kewl, am totally gonna make my Richard once I'm on-shift... pictures will have to wait, but I think I have a plan... though I doubt I can beat the skeleton... too bad I'm not in my forensic anthro class this semester... then I'd have access to some bones.

I wish that there where more with such interesting first post's... good work Misko... now lets hope that our Lartist wants to make them....

Thanks Lar & cubeecraft for making this. It was fun! So much so, that I decided to make snowman (picture under our Christmas tree). Decided it wouldn't be Richard without a little fwoom. ;p

Paper Richard looks a little like he's made of LEGOS.

I like it! Of course about 45 minutes into the cutting and trimming and folding some of the charm wore off. Six curses and several promises never to become an artist (Graphic or otherwise) I had assembled Richard. Charm renewed I hastened to take a picture (or four.)

Seven hours of making little Richard paper things, there are a total of 10 small 1 large, and i think i broke my scissors. anyway, my printer didn't have any ink, so i was forced to do black and whites, but it was fun times *groan*

It took me a while and more than one try (I accidentally cut my first richard's arm in half) but I made one! I love my awesome Paper Richard, threatening me from on top of my computer. How cute.

btw, could the photo taken be photoshopped to add some effects to the scene i'm planning?

I thought this to be a fitting end when Richard finally kicks the bucket.

(don't worry, all are work-safe, despite file names)

I made the normal one according to the directions but then decided to make another one that looked more like Richard (with a hood) while still using the original paper materials (though the fireballs were a little add-on that i thought up of) sorry for the bad quality other photos were too large

I thought the paper Richard looked easy enough to make (until I realized all I had to cut it with were scissors!) And I had a random bunny hanging around, so... Richard riding his bunny friend.

Just put my new Dick together today on my lunch break. I thought he needed a little flavor text since he looked kinda lonely taped on top of my work monitor all by himself... it's amazing what you can accomplish with Microsoft Word, a color printer, a paper clip (for stability), and some tape.

Now he can warn all of my coworkers as they sneak up behind me!!!
