How to get toothpaste back into the tube.

I think if I had to travel a lot, I still wouldn't bother with this. That's what the little "overnight toiletry" bins are for at the local discount department store. Just buy the little tubes and bottles of crap when you get there; it's not going to cost that much.

If anyone runs across something that is an equally stupid waste of time (like looking up shit about toothpaste for my paper), by all means, post it so we may be amused.

I made this.

Looking at that long and drawn out method, I suppose simply sellotaping the end of the small tube to the end of the large tube and squeezing the larger one has a fatal flaw which I'm not aware of?

Anything made out of silver duct tape is automatic win.
It's cool, geeky, useful and probably very rugged.
It also makes one hell of a fashion statement.

I was -this- close to trying to win that scholarship, but the army moved me my senior year, and I ended up not going to prom at the school I graduated at. .... stupid army ....

anyway, I'm sure it would havbe been fun, but thinking back, I'm sure you'd get all sweaty and gross in a duct-tape dress

Prob. u can also line it with a nice fabric? or just tape it on! which may cause problems if ppl dare to rip it off wink.gif!

Simply cover a dress in duct-tape? That's cheating! That's not a duct-tape dress, that's a duct-tape covered, dress! It would be different I assume if you had made the dress to begin with, but still!

Or you could use a syringe.

This is probably obvious but uh... posting on forums a lot is pretty much a waste of time unless it's critical for work and/or school.

I say this being the biggest hypocrite most likely.

Or you could use a syringe.

Actually, I doubt that would work. The needle is too skinny for something like thick toothpaste.
I used a marinade injector to fill cream puffs, and it was a pain in the ass. It had a good sized needle, but it wasn't big enough to draw the fairly thick custard into the syringe, so I had to fill it by taking the top off and spooning it in. Then it was hard to get into the puff. Made a hell of a mess, but they turned out well in the end.

Well no. Not all syringes have needles. If you get a large one from a vet clinic, the needle doesn't come with it. I have one and we used it to try and inject melted cheese into chicken nuggets.

Lol I did the same thing with ketchup and french fries. Best idea ever.
